PCA Cure and when?
PSA is 0 on ADT and Abiraterone and
methylprednisolone
. Averaged 8,600 steps/day. I have just started to add occasional sprinting. I am taking multiple supplements. I am greatful that my PSA is 0. I work everyday and pray for a cure. What is our best hope for a cure and when?

Taking so many drugs ...
Well, couldn't make it home without seeing a doctor 😕 He said it was pollution induced and gave me a short course of
methylprednisolone
, omeprazole, anti histamines, cough medicine and antibiotics!!! He also said he couldn't hear anything on my chest as in an infection.

I don't know whether this is the side effects of any medicine like
Methylprednisolone
which was prescribed by Pulmonologist. Do you have this sort of experience?

Let’s see? Bowel perforation and GCA Flare ?
After 49 months and getting to 1 mg of prednisone, my neurologist and rheumatologist admitted me to the hospital for pulse treatment of 500mg of
methylprednisolone
for three days, and I was discharged on 60 mg of pred tablets, which I am still taking.

Methylprednisolone infusions Good/Bad
The
methylprednisolone
seems a bit drastic, as the side effects are many and none look good, also it can interfere with 256 other drugs including propranolol and salt, so as I'm on those two for sure and many of the others this would seem a no go.

PICC LINE CATHETER FOR SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS
Recently, my doctors planned to prescribe intravenous cyclophosphamide and
methylprednisolone
to help manage my condition. However, due to the vasculitis affecting my veins, medical professionals are facing challenges accessing my veins for the required treatments.

Bruising, Ozempic, Nausea, Depression, Steroids, Facial Hair. You Name It.
Experience fatigue most days and need long naps Currently, on 12 mgs
methylprednisolone
; trying to cut by 10% every three weeks. Down from 40 mgs pred. in Nov. ‘22. So far, no flares. When I get to much lower steroids, will blood sugar go down? BP? Bruising? Hair growth?

Surgery and aspirin: what protocol with APS?
For the past 2 months I've been following a treatment based on
Methylprednisolone
infusions (2.5 g) and Oral prednisone (of which I'm currently taking 5 mg. Per day). I have doubts if I should stop all together Aspirine and what protocol to follow for surgery when having APS.

Sinusitis issues here
Taking cefdinir currently, and was prescribed
methylprednisolone
. I'm afraid to take
methylprednisolone
for fear of it wiring me up. It's a 6 day course at 4 mg. Confused by instructions if I decide to take it. Until you get down to the last few doses, it says to split it up at different times.

Newly diagnosed with RA and have a holiday planned abroad next month, any tips?
I have had
methylprednisolone
injections, which helped, but the Sulfasalazine I was unable to tolerate and am now trying out Hydoxychloroquine, which is reasonably tolerated.

Psoriasis seems to be flaring from taking atenolol
The doctor has given me
methylprednisolone
ointment but was only getting worse after a week. I stopped taking atenolol for a week and the
methylprednisolone
started to work well. But blood pressure went too high so went back on atenolol. Psoriasis worsened again with lesions spreading.

Sinus issues
Went back to doctor after putting up with it, prescribed course of
methylprednisolone
which I'm afraid to take, also told to try Flonase which is now available over the counter, wondering if this will help this. With almost constant discharge don't know if Flonase will adhere to sinus walls.
