Query re B12 supplementation
When it started a few years back, I did take Solgar, Sublingual
Methylcobalamin
for about a year or so and then stopped because I read that too much B12 can be bad for you.

Is there any association with B12 deficiency and sensitivity to oxalates?
I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency last year, and taking 1,000 mcg sublingual methyl B12 since then has been a miracle. Lately I think I have discovered a connection between some of my kidney and urinary discomfort symptoms and high oxalate foods (chocolate, nuts, beans, some berries, etc.). Is there

. And when I search for commercially available products I find a reasonable number of Cyanocobalamins, loads and loads of Methylcobalamins, and a small number of Hydroxocobalamins. Why so few Hydroxocobalamin tablets/lozenges/etc.?

Vitamin B12 as a Treatment for Pain
METHODS: PubMed was searched using the terms “
methylcobalamin
pain”, “hydroxycobalamin pain”, “cyanocobalamin pain”, and “vitamin B12 pain.” Animal studies that identified mechanisms of action for the effects of pain were collected.

Where can I buy safe Methyl B12 for UK use?
Hi, Myself & daughter both diagnosed with B12 deficiency. She’s on monthly injections, I’m on 3 monthly, but we SI with hydro B12 in between. DNA testing did show up genetic mutations linked to difficulty processing B12, but not the dreaded MTHFR, but we need folate over folic acid etc & I wonder

Methylcobalamin
? Hydroxocobalamin? Cyanocobalamin? I like the look of buying from vitaminb12online.com as they come in kits. When I see how I get on, I will look to buy items in bulk. From the return of my symptoms I think monthly should do me. Can I do it in my tummy or thigh?

High MCV Doesn't Respond to Anything?
Hi Everyone, I am brand new to the forum. For 20 years (maybe a whole lifetime) I've had a high MCV of around 103. I have a multitude of symptoms which I call Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Most conventional docs have said this was close to range and not a problem, but given my symptoms seems like it might

Please Help - Scared & Feel Like I’m Dying
I started to take 5000ug of Solgar sublingual
Methylcobalamin
every day. I’ve just had a finger-prick *active* B12 test from Medichecks and it’s at 300. Does this mean that I’m not deficient? Or is the result affected by my supplements? I’m terrified right now because I feel like I’m dying.

Purchasing B12 for injection. Oxford Biosciences.
They sell
methylcobalamin
in a glass vial for reconstitution with normal saline and then injection. Are they "flying under the radar" when it comes to pharmaceutical regulation? Listed as "pharmaceutical grade", but where is product sourced?

Hi everyone, I've recently been feeling very fatigued, can't take deep breaths I feel like there's something blocking my chest, I've some depression and unexplainable anxiety. I've always known that B12 deficiency attacks the nervous system and the brain, and so I decided to go back and read "Could It

B12 induced acne, did not go away after a few weeks...
I did the daily
methylcobalamin
injection for 6 months, I experienced no changes in my energy levels or anything else, as this doctor had convinced me I had B12D and needed these injections, I decided to stop them, eagerly waiting for a few weeks to pass and the acne to go away, it just got worse!

B12 deficiency, PA or something else?
He put me on loading dose
Methylcobalamin
inj 500mcg/day for 7 days then 1 weekly for next 4 weeks. After first week of injections it seemed like my symptoms got worse. I was having severe headache/balance issue. Lots of pins and needles. Now after three weeks I am having 3 injections/week.
