buprenorphine study
Just wondering what people think about the recent study below? Study population was people with opioid use disorder (OUD) who are taking buprenorphine to manage it. Apparently an unusually high percentage of participants had RLS symptoms. I thought Bup alleviated symptoms? I’m in the process of getting

Cannabidiol and anti coagulants
I replied to Jean Jeannie’s post about Food Additives. She suggested I posted separately about this. I recently received some OTO Sleep drops as a gift. They are designed to be taken under the tongue just before bed, and contain 10% CBD with a ‘complementary blend of botanicals’ . This forum has

Endocrinologist recommendations in/near West Sussex for Addison's / adrenals
Can anybody recommend an endocrinologist in West Sussex or nearby please who knows about adrenals and Addison's? It comes as no surprise to me, but a private blood screen has just shown very low cortisol levels and a couple of other bits, that suggest an adrenal problem, possibly Addison's. I've not

Problems with medication supplies
Hi. Since I recently swapped to home deliveries for medication, every 4 weeks some meds are missing or out of stock.I didn't have this problem when I ordered directly from the GP, changed over because I was struggling to get into town to collect my prescriptions. The messages from Lloyds Pharmacy says

Should I stick?
I've was diagnosed with AF about eleven years ago and it's managed with Bisoprolol and Rivaroxaban and save feeling of breathlessness sometimes, especially when bending down, my AF is asymptomatic but permanent. Since moving from Warfarin about seven years ago I rarely think about it as a condition.

interstitial cystitis
Hi, I am convinced I have got interstitial cystitis- if so… how long until diagnoses? I’ve had millions of urine samples, some sent to lab, I’ve had clear renal blood tests and I’ve had thorough examinations of down below and my back etc. is the last thing a scan? And what type? How much more prodding

Migraine and visual hallucinations
I’ve suffered with migraines for many years since I was about 11 (I’m 35 now). Anyway as I’ve gotten older they’ve thankfully become less frequent and severe (though I take propranalol to prevent). I had an attack begin late last night with my usual blind spots and visual disturbance. It was bed time

New Blood Thinner for Stroke Prevention
Hi all, Some exciting news for those on Blood Thinners for AF. Abelacimab is a monoclonal antibody given just once a month by subcutaneous injection. It is not cleared by the kidneys, doesn’t require dose adjustments, and is not affected by other drugs. It achieves near-complete 99% inhibition of

white capsules vs pink/green capsules Hydroxycarbamide
Hi all Have any of you had the plain white capsules of Hydroxycarbamide instead of the Pink/Green capsules ? I’ve been taking the pink/green capsules made by Bristol Myers Squibb for several years with increased doses from time to time. Earlier this year my dose was increased to 3x500mg Friday Saturday

Hi Glaucoma community,I have been diagnosed with early stage glaucoma this week, in one eye. I'm 46 years old, female. My eye pressures in both eyes were 21 - so borderline from what I understand. I had a central retinal vein occlusion in my right eye in 2016 and saw a consultant for18 months until it
