I have had diarrhea most of my life and have used Imodium for the most part. Have been working with GI specialist but no help so far. Taking Colestipol which at least usually keeps me from having an accident but goes not help the symptoms of needing to go. They seem to want to find right pills to help

chryotherapy
My local spa offers cryotherapy for arthritis. Has anyone tried this for RA and had any effect? I tried having a full body massage to help ease my aches but ended up hurting all over! A cold shower helps but I can’t spend all day in there. Does anyone have some good tips please ?

Traditional Mediterranean diet and warfarin
I am 5 weeks post mechanical valve replacement. I'm on 8/7 alternating warfarin. I am 26 and was brought up on a Mediterranean diet which I have not been following since discharge because I have been avoiding the higher vitamin K foods. I have also been eating much more meat and high protein food than

Constipation
It seems like every 2 weeks there are more facets to this problem. I take Miralax every day, Colace every other day - drink constantly - and now I have huge BM feelings and go to the bathroom and feel like I''ve accomplished something - then I look and it is not at all what it felt like - smallish,

Advice please
Hi, I am due to have a hysterectomy in October. Ovaries are going too and there's a strong chance of bowel resection due to recto sigmoid endometriosis. If anyone has any advice for recovery or can share their experience I would be grateful. Thank you Aimee

Blood on toilet paper
hey everyone, So for a while I have been seeing blood on my toilet paper. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen frequent enough that I’m a bit concerned. It usually takes for me to wipe twice to actually see the blood. It’s not much and it is bright red. For what I can tell I don’t think

UPDATE on Abdominal distension.
Some may remember my post a few days ago. I was experiencing some abdominal distension, which I suspected maybe ascites. However, my GP assured me there was no ascites and I probably had diverticulitis.I took the advice of the kind ladies who responded to me. I was admitted to hospital yesterday with

Does anyone else have discomfort when going over bumps in car
Hi all, I usually wear a hearing aid in one ear and have done for several months now. This is for T, mild hearing loss and balance problems. Before getting the hearing aid for many years there would be discomfort, mild pain and a feeling of something moving, bouncing in my ear that would last for only

Tortuous colon
At my last colonoscopy (at age 60) the doc told me, upon awakening, that I had a "tortuous" colon. This was a surprise to me as I've had 3 or 4 previous colonoscopies in my life and have never been told that before. I have suffered with bloat, discomfort, gas, and other issues throughout my life, though

First colonoscopy a success!!
So I went in today for my first colonoscopy and it was all clear aside from some diverticulitis causing a bit of inflammation, but no polyps, no growths, nothing of concern, which was a complete surprise. My anxiety got the best of me and now I can focus on getting back to life, with some changes of
