Persuading Dad to get off the ventilator
He does have a history of depression, anxiety and other
mental
health
issues but has worked most of his life and travelled alone so also has a lot of strength. Any insights into someone who has experienced this to help me convince him would be super helpful. We want him home and better asap.

Experience with no medication!
Hello😊 does anyone as afib and doing nothing like me, I have persistent chronic afib for 4y now but NOT feeling it, only the cardiologist see it with control! He advised me to take Eliquis or I could have a stroke or heart attack! I’m sure and respect he’s medical knowledge and not against medication

Amiriodone & NDT update
So I was put on Amiodarone post heart surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago. I thought it was a three week course but it's not. Now on 200mg per day for the next few months . And yes I think it's messing my thyroid hormones up. I did protest over taking it...due to its high iodine content and contrary indications.

Why so much pain suddenly
I'm binge eating and the weight is going back on which doesn't help my physical or
mental
health
. Due repeat blood tests so hopefully it might explain what's going on.

Activity post ablation
I am wanting to be extremely gradual in my recovery but also realize that my
mental
health
is significantly improved when I am active. Looking for some guidance of what kind of activities to introduce when and for what duration. Cheers!

Important survey needing more responses from people from ETHNIC MINORITIES and non-white ethnicities please.
The University of Cambridge study into quality of life, neurological and
mental
health
systems, and medical relationships from rheumatology patients had a fantastic response rate and they are soon to publish their first paper which we hope will improve care and understanding.

Amiodarone...side effect!!! Chronic insomnia
Lack of sleep (total insomnia) is sooo detrimental to ones
mental
health
and overall wellbeing...I cannot function without sleep. Likewise, I cannot function with the severity of frequent AFib attacks. Given a choose the Amiodarone may have to go it I cannot find away to resolve insomnia issue.

Could my university do more to accommodate me?
Does any of you have a similar experience dealing with the bureaucracies at the university who ignores and/or trivializes
mental
health
issues? Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Some hope!
I believe it started from a combination of a stressful traumatic time of my life and starting on
mental
health
medication Citalopram [which I have been on before] at the same time.

endometriosis surgery coming up.
If the doctor doesn’t find it will my
mental
health
survive the news, I feel I would give up all hope? Will my pain get better if they do take it out? Is my pain going to come straight back after they take me off prostrap injections? What if that day the surgeon doesn’t believe me?

I have had restlesslegs for 40 years. After a recent operation, just as I need to recover my legs are so bad I cannot sleep except from about 6am until 10.am. I take Pregabalin 300ng but am so desperate I rang my GP practice to ask for a few sleeping tablets. The doctor said we first need to do blood
