Three weeks post ablation - slipped beats
Hi all. Had an ablation on Feb 9th. First two weeks were a breeze. Zero symptoms. On days 15 started getting skipped beats. Felt normal rhythm but the delay was hicupp/gurgling. Felt like frog was in my throat too. They don’t last long, usually less than 4 min. Goes back to normal sinus rhythm. Sometime

Style of circumcision for BXO/LS (and general worrying)
Hi all. I have been having random foreskin issues for years. pretty much since I was a child and have recently been diagnosed with BXO. I just have a sore tip of foreskin and very mild phimosis but have had a tiny white lesion on the side of my frenulum once around 15 years ago. This was resolved with

Circumcision, twice failed! Will not heal
On June 1st I went in for a circumcision after 12-18 months wait (NHS). The reason for my circumcision was phimosis. After the first 2-3 weeks I had noticed that only half of the wound had closed up, and I thought I had infection because i had some yellow coloured discharge from the wound, I booked

Hi All, hope everyone is doing OK. I had an aortic valve replacement 15 years ago and have been on warfarin ever since. Ive not had any real issues since however in 2020 I suffered a head injury (which I've posted about on headway forum). Since then I've been diagnosed with post concussion syndrome,

So much pain
Hi all, I hope that you are doing well. Is anyone suffering from chronic pain due to central nervous system damage? How do you cope? I'm bedridden 2 years now after open heart surgery and overmedicated then undermedicated.

set pattern to PAF
I have had PAF for about 9 years. Symptoms tolerable but the attacks last about 12 hours. No diagnosed cause and cannot take medication owing to low heart rate just on apaxiban. Heart deemed to be too healthy to have an ablation & run even the low risk. I get an attack every 3 weeks, used to be less

Worrying
I feel my Prox. AF has changed over the last 6 months. It now last most of the day being in and out of AF and the periods when I’m not in it I have a resting heart rate of around 100. Just as I go back into Sinus rhythm I feel really ill as though I’m going to black out and start to lose my focus for

Current heart status
Just a little up date. Went and saw my cardiologist on Thursday. And there was a few positives. Which I need to except in my head. My appointment started with with usual blood pressure check and oxygen stat check. And weight. But I suppose I was still wondering why they wanted an echo which I did not

Dental Treatment after open heart surgery
Hi I am 7 months recovering from open heart surgery for a repair to my mitral and tricuspid valves. This morning one of my teeth started hurting when I was eating my breakfast. Now tonight the tooth feels a bit loose. My question is do I have to have antibiotics before any dental treatment and if so

Runners brain
Anyone else find themselves composing a post to put on here while they're running? Something that seems hilarious/fascinating/insightful while you're thinking of it, but later on (like those brilliant ideas you have at 3am) turns out to be drivel? No? Just me then. Anyway, I did my 28 minutes tonight

Suspect if my feelings are the symptoms of STIs.
I had unprotected sex with a stranger 10 tens ago. Now I feel burning sensation on my penis and anal after pooing and peeing. Is this feeling related to my sexual behaviors? Is it still too early to go and get tested of STD(I)?

Hello all. Have been getting the benefit reading all the posts from all you lovely fellow sufferers but have been reluctant for no real reason to posts my own. So here goes.
