HRT anyone?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with Lupus last June. Luckily my symptoms are mild - and my rhumatologist agreed that i didn't need to start hydroxyholorquine if I didn't want to. I'm definitely peri-menopausal and a lot of "symptoms" of lupus overlap with perimenopause and my rhumatologist agreed it's

How long off work after cardiac ablation?
Hello All, I have had my cardiac ablation and my GP has signed me off for 4weeks. I have read it takes 12 weeks for the heart to heal. How long did you have off work? My groin still aches and I feel fatigue easily at the minute. Do I meed to be careful in the 'blanking period' or just get back on with

Switch of medication
I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

progynova & bleed while waiting for FET
hi I wondered if anyone else had experienced this? And should I cancel cycle in case my endometrium lining has now been compromised? I’ve been taking progynova for 12 days have a scan to check lining progress tomorrow in hope for transfer next Thursday, my last two frozen eggs so really don’t want them

Help! on Pro-stap, tibolone HRT brought back endo pain!? Made me so unwell - anyone relate??
pro-stap monthly injections started November without HRT. Reduced lot of the endo pain (although made my stomach issues/sensitivity to food way worse). Decided to start tibolone HRT 10 weeks into the injections and it caused awful period/endo pain, spotting, flu type symptoms on and off. Only lasted

TBG result... new to me
I've not seen this tested before but I'm interpreting it to show I have the balance of oestrogen and thyroid hormones about right... 😏🤷♀️

synarel side effects
hello all, Has anyone got any tips for dealing with the side effects from Synarel? Im about ten days in with a fair bit more to go pre ERA/ALICE/EMMA testing. I’ve had buselerin in the past and the side effects were the same but came on quicker… Cold sweats are the bit I’m struggling with. Feels

Oestrogen levels
I know this is a menopause question but I can’t find the answer on other forums. I have underactive thyroid and having tests to see if symptoms are thyroid or hrt/menopause The test for Oestrogen level shows 337 range refers to follicle/luteal phase which isn’t relevant as it’s def menopause Is 337

I had a lap investigation in october. the surgeon told me post op that she couldn’t remove any endo and she suggested GNRH injections. I had my follow up appointment with the consultant yesterday who thought that the surgeon had removed the endo, when i told her they hadn’t she said i needed a 2nd op

Tonsil Stones from IVF Treatment - Anyone Else?
I began my first cycle of IVF back in the summer of 2020. Whilst in treatment and injecting Gonal F, I started having tonsil stones. These are debris that builds up and sit in your tonsils causing some discomfort. I ended up doing 4 rounds of IVF so obviously the drugs/hormones messed up my body somewhat

Menopause/HRT Question.
I recently changed over to the Evorel 50 HRT patches from oral HRT tablets, well what a waste of time, they are absolutely useless. They wont stay on even though I put a sticky plaster and surgical tape on over the top. I used 4 in a week! They are definitely not for me. I had a consult today with a

FSH test results (FSH is as important as AMH?)
AMH is largely talked about on this forum but FSH is less so. I am super worried about my FSH lately. In a recent test (October) my FSH came back high so that caused the clinic to demand updated day 2-3 FSH tests. I had to do that on day 1 (as day 2 would be Sunday and Monday I was busy). I decided

PMR AND ANASTROZOLE
I had an operation for breast cancer (Mastectomy with reconstruction) in mid December. Thankfully I don’t need any more treatment other than anti oestrogen tablets. I have been told by my surgeon that Anastrozole can give the same side effects as PMR so has delayed the start of these tablets as I was

HRT Patches Concern
I recently switched to transdermal HRT tablets from oral HRT, I'm not convinced, firstly because of my very abrupt menopause, mine was like falling off a tall building 🗼rather than a gentle decline. So I was taking 1mg estradiol and I femoston conti 1/10 tablet a day for 7 years making 2mg oestrogen

Recurring UTI’s - Diagnosis - Atrophic vaginitis
Referred to Urology after many recurring UTI’s. Appointment included many tests including a flexible cystoscopy, which was very uncomfortable as doctor had difficulty locating urethra due to grade 2 cystocele and uterine prolapse. The urine flow test showed that I was not fully emptying my bladder,
