Could my symptoms be endometriosis?
Hello! I hope you are all coping ok. I felt compelled to join this forum because I am getting to the end of my tether with my symptoms and lack of support from GP’s. I would really appreciate some guidance on whether you think my symptoms could be endometriosis and if anyone has had any similar experiences

Alendronic acid tablets
Although I was diagnosed with PMR over a year ago I was not prescribed alendronic acid tablets until a month ago due to an oversight at the surgery However I have not responded well to these tablets at all with even worse reflux and mouth ulcers over the following 24 hours. I take 40mg of esomeprazole

Weight struggles
Hi all. I am struggling with my weight which I think is related to my PBC & Ursodiol. I have been walking, on average 3 miles/day, 6 days a week. I have been calorie counting & trying to make healthy choices. I have been doing this since December & my weight remains the same. Does anyone have any experience

Since PwP are at increased risk for Osteoporosis and Osteopenia, I am writing this post to illustrate how once again, Melatonin may be quite useful for the purpose of staving off or preventing Osteoporosis or Osteopenia. The following Meta Analysis discusses the relationship of Osteoporosis

Plant based omega 3 has helped my hasimotos.
I have suffered from hasimotos for about 20 years. In the last year I could feel and see my thyroid gland swelling and it use to hurt when I use to swallow. The inflammation went up and down on different days. It was becoming worrisome as it was happening more often and it waa v uncomfortable. I started

Alendronic Acid
I have a telephone appointment with my GP on Monday and want to tell her I’d prefer to stop taking Alendronic Acid. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, probably brought on by prednisolone which I’ve been taking since March 2020. Started at 15mg, tapering in 1/2mg, now at 8mg. My Dexa scan in January

Just a little reassurance.
Hello everyone. Just to say I had my covid vaccination two days ago (Sat 27th Feb) and I've been ok. 🙂 I'm currently on 11mg prednisolone, Alendronic Acid, Propanolol, Atorvastatin and Calci-D. Yesterday my arm felt slightly sore at the point of the injection and also a little achey, but nothing

IBRUTINIB AND HIP PAIN
IBRUTINIB AND HIP PAIN: First, I want to say that since Ibrutinib is such a miraculous drug, many people want to stay on it. The hip pain needs work throughout the day, but can be mitigated or eliminated. The main muscles that cause pain around the hips are the quadratus Lumborum and the gluteal muscles-there

Fed up feeling like this - should I push for another lap?
I kept going back to the GP with very little progress - I was given
Mefenamic
Acid
, Naproxen, Codeine and Tramadol before I was referred to a specialist. By this point I was 24 and in constant pain - it got to the point where I could only walk if dosed up with Tramadol.

Free ebook of 300 pages:"Parkinson's here and now. 27 years searching for a cure for Parkinson's disease (1994-2021)."
This coming Monday (if everything goes as planned) I will publish on my blog "Parkinson's here and now" the link to a free book of about 250-300 pages and in printable pdf format, which collects the most interesting of the book I published in 2015 (now translated into English) as a tribute to my father

Prolia / Denosumab Opinions
I had first Prolia last August and I just had second. I did feel very achy for a number of weeks after the first. I have just googled and seen alarming things like Infections with Prolia / rebound fractures/ lots of problems. By the way , only on it as I found Alendronic acid hard to comply

Denosumab / Prolia ? Opinions
Has anyone here had Prolia ( Denosumab ) as they kept forgetting to take Alendronic acid . Prolia is a 6 monthly injection. I have been googling and become very alarmed. I certainly wont have it again. I would be grateful if anyone who has had it could share their experiences.
