My Life with ADHD
I tried
meditation
, which is effective in bringing me to focus and be present. But it was not sustainable because it takes time. However, I think it is the only way to survive

I started
meditation
š§āāļø which has helped me massively. I was either living in the past or thinking to much about the future. I've been happier now than I've ever been. This APP is the best one ( I think ) after trying many. Keep up the great work.

QOL -- A reNewed Spring in my Step
I wasn't planning to post today, but a good
meditation
session and a 7-mile walk woke me up. Snow expected again tomorrow (delaying my first camping trip of the season for another week or two), but here's a few pics from today's walk.

Psychiatrist might be into pseudoscience. Into Joe Dispenza. Need advice.
There has been proof that neuroplasticity exists and that
meditation
can have benefits. However, the layers with these claims more extreme claims; that the mind can heal the body in pretty much "magical" ways.

Meditate for relaxation
Try some
meditation
or exercise to quiet your mind. This too will pass.

timing of your medication monitoring blood tests
good morning all and thank you all for your kind and caring responses to my previous question. My query today is: has anyone ever found that having a blood test close to methotrexate day (or within two weeks of having a wee Drinkieā¦) impacts the liver reading? I normally ensure this doesnāt happen

Tips for preparing talk therapy. Bottom up approach.
For example: Yoga: chair yoga/ yoga focused on tension release/ relaxing yoga for beginners/ trauma informed yoga
Meditation
: guided/breathwork/trauma informed
meditation
Tai chi Therapy in a nutshell has very useful playlist to explain some of them and some tips as well.

Bolts Brainwave Entrainment Protocol
query=40+hz
So... benefits:
1: There is research that
meditation
helps PD. And they say that when you meditate you get your brain into the Gamma frequency range. Well I have never been able to meditate. Or if I do meditate I can't tell that I am. I just sit there bored.

28 Jul 2023 Take it easy on yourself.
It takes time, a lot of soul searching, and
meditation
if YOU please, but it will come one day just take your time. This is not a sprint where the fastest wins. It is a long marathon, imagine the Ethiopians in the Olympics. Your race is longer, much longer.

My first PD boxing class
I believe
meditation

The disease is in thought, environment, perception and inherited information. Then it goes into our body chemistry.
Living in a natural paradise, having a vegetable garden, bathing in the river,
meditation
, Chikung, electric bike rides in the mountains, fresh air and springs, redox molecule supplements, electro-stimulation with micro-currents, etc. have all made my Parkinson's "even better".

New to PMR
I also try to minimize stress through
meditation
and time spent in nature, and make sure I get enough sleep (if I sleep badly one night, I'll let myself lie in the following morning...but then I am semi-retired so I have that luxury. I feel I am doing all I can to help myself with this disease.

Letting people down because of IBS
(this is beyond Imodium or
meditation
). Now I feel so awful and I also feel so guilty. Another family member has to bear the weight that I have dropped, with me saying I can't carry it. I explained, but it sounds like an excuse. No one understands IBS.
