Question about methylphenidate.
We have both just had our first week on meds, she is on
Medikinet
10mg I think it's called and I am on Xaggitin 18mg. My daughter is absolutely fine and if anything is complaining about not feeling any different whereas I am having loads of side effects.

New meds
Hi all, We have just been swapped to
Medikinet
XL 5mg a day. Does anyone have any experience with this medication? We were on Tranquilin 2.5mg twice a day and only saw a 10% difference in the symptoms. We had almost zero side effects from it and considered ourselves very lucky.

I tried many different medication, on and off of Antidepressants, tried
Medikinet
, which helped at first, but then made me horribly nervous and didn't do much good. I am now trying Elvanse and my first day went, oh well... mixed.

Lactoferrin: Success stories?
Hi. Just wondering if anyone is taking Lactoferrin and benefits from using it? It's supposed to have immunity, gut, anti fungal/viral/bacterial and weight regulation benefits.

Unusual discharge 2 weeks before IVF
Hi everyone, After my first IVF cycle I developed a type of discharge that looks like thrush but has none of the other signs (no itchiness, burning, odour). This tested negative for candida and everything else at the GP twice, and tested negative for all strains of candida tested by the Invivo vaginal

balantitis - red patch on penis that has faded but left a minor mark. Is this normal?
I had a red patch along with other irritation on the glans of my penis. It faded after a few days with the help of antifungal cream (daktarin). It has left a shiny mark is this normal for balantitis? Looking at pictures online I’m almost positive it isn’t herpes or anything else.

Tacrolimus levels while taking anti-fungal
I developed thrush and being treated with Clotrimazole tablets. I got my monthly blood work and my tacrolimus levels (which had been normal) doubled. They think that it was taking the Clotrimazole. So it was a drug interaction that caused it. Anyone else have any issue like this?

What is a Healthy, low sugar shake or supplement to gain weight with prostate cancer spread to lymph nodes?
Husband has advanced prostate cancer mets to neck, chest, back, pelvis, femur. PSA is doubling rapidly. Currently on Zytiga, Lupron, Steroid, and Lyparza. 😞 Diagnosed in 2020 with tumor base of tongue (doctors said it was not related to PC) and aggressive prostate cancer at same time. Today, four years

Never ending balanitis and lichen sclerosus
It all started about 6 years ago when I began to notice red spots on my penis and foreskin that appeared and disappeared occasionally. They only caused me discomfort when present, in the form of itching and a burning sensation. I consulted a dermatologist who told me to stop eating sweets and it would

FT3 often higher than FT4; are my symptoms even hypo?
Hello everyone! I've been hypo now for a bit more than two years. Probably three or more, but diagnosed 2 years ago, and also taken levo since then. As doctors can be a bit difficult, and I have felt with no other choice, I have raised my levo dose myself several times. Otherwise I would still be

Question about CLL & intestinal yeast/Candida
Since taking several strong antibiotics, I've had bad diarrhea/gas/bloating. I'm convinced the cause is Candida/yeast/fungus. Why? I was advised to eat an anti-Candida diet and take 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil in the morning and after a week, digestion became normal! But I went back to normal eating

Things, regimens, etc that are probably RLS worthless.
THINGS THAT DO NOT WORK FOR RLS All of us with RLS/PLMD have slightly different symptoms. We have tried various 'remedies' to try to relieve our RLS symptoms. We have read articles, some interesting, some ridiculous (bar of soap) that make amazing promises. And there is an entire array of things to

Need recommendations for herbal supplements.
I'm 67 and have had anxiety since menopause. I don't do hrt and haven't taken natural supplements. My anxiety comes and goes and is exacerbated by histamine in pollen season and possibly low oestrogen ongoing. Constantly light headed and sob intermittently and can't make arrangements in advance as each
