natural treatments
I have also hired a nurse who works for
medical
cannabis
who prescribed a tincture for me to try. I have always been very sensitive to medicine. My fear is the prednisone was the only thing that actually helped thus far. I was almost unable to walk when I was diagnosed with PMR.

Is there a link between thyroid problems & rheumatoid arthritis?
The hope is
medical
cannabis
can be given as the new treatment going forward, so fingers crossed. I've told them about Magnesium Glycinate in the hope that can go towards offering some relief.

Robot‐assisted radical prostatectomy [RARP] experience.
New study. I had open surgery 14 years ago. When RARP became more available I believe that it was oversold to patients, in the sense that experience was lacking. I kept reading that it took a lot of operations to become proficient. My friend & neighbor Jim rushed into RARP & his first day home woke

Ovary removal
Hi I had cervical cancer 10 years ago and kept my ovaries. Next week I’m getting one out as it’s attached to bowel and I get cysts on it..about 6 a year. I had a cyst removed 7 years ago and remember the pain being just as bad as the radical hysterectomy. Anyone had ovary removed recently? Just wondering

Estradiol & PCa.
New French study. Nalakrats will get a kick out of this one. "Our objective was to assess the concentration levels of sex steroids in prostatic tissue and serum, in two cohorts of patients with localized PCa or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)." "The levels of Total Testosterone (TT), Di-Hydro-Testosterone

Serous Low Grade Ovarian Carcinoma -treatment options
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with serous low grade ovarian carcinoma stage 3C December 2017 and had a radical hysterectomy with debulking. I had researched treatment options and learned that chemo has little effect on the type of of cancer that I have, consequently I did not take chemo. My oncologist

Having cancer is exhausting...does it ever end?
Good morning all 😊 My name is Deana and I’m 48 and was diagnosed with stage 3 NSCLC in 2015. It took 11 months and 4 stays in the hospital with “bronchitis” for the doctors to finally find the tumor the size of a lemon that was crushing my right bronchial tube. Once found I immediately began looking

A reason to have both ?
Short recap: MRI found tumors, biopsy results Gleason's 8 and 9 in majority of samples, cancer found in left seminal vesicle, all pretty grim. Local urologist recommended surgery. Went to Duke U. cancer clinic, met with surgeon, medical oncologist and radiation oncologist. Apparently surgery alone will

Hello to the group
After two negative biopsies and an inconclusive MRI, I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer after a saturation biopsy (40 cores). Results showed a Gleason 3 + 4 with PSA of 12. Currently considering treatment options, though current recommendation is radical prostatectomy. I am 49 years old and

New member Intro.
I am from UK and am hoping to access
medical
cannabis
once it is available. Has anyone tried or benefited from self-medicating before and has it worked for you? I am a little nervous and scared of it all as I've never smoked or taken illegal drugs before but would do anything to be pain-free.
