Sensations after omentum removal?
Hello everyone! In 2016 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had to have extensive radical hysterectomy that also involved the removing of part of the omentum. I was wondering if anyone else feels strange sensations in the stomach area after their omentum removal? I constantly feel a fluttering sensation

Newly diagnosed post radical prostatectomy
I am 65 and have a PSA of 8.4 after radical prostatectomy in Nov 2020, MRI shows no pelvis infiltration so suspicion are distant mets, PET scan coming up. I have requested surgical castration as opposed to meds, as even loading dose of oral bicalutemide floored me with fatigue and worsening arthritis

I met with my urologist today. My PSA is undetectable for over a year (following a radical prostatectomy followed by radiation). I’m still having serious incontinence and ED issues. I’m still not sold on another surgery and having something foreign in my body that may need to eventually be replaced

The efficacy and safety of radical prostatectomy and radiotherapy in high-risk prostate cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis
For your consideration........recent update...... https://wjso.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12957-020-01824-9 Conclusion here...... RP seems to offer better OS but inferior results for CSS and biochemical recurrence. Brachy boost may perform better in all aspects. I think Tall_Allen has already

Medical marijuana
Wondering if anyone has used medical marijuana for anxiety? Not self medicating, but actually going to a Dr. and dispensary for a specific type/dose. I see it’s recommended to help but I always used to feel paranoid when I smoked in my 20s.

Questions for the RO for my upcoming video conference regarding options for early salvage treatment (and ADT) after Radical Prostatectomy?
I had my radical prostatectomy (RP) on 6/3/2019. Given my pathological results (see below for details) and the definite trend in my PSA levels over the last 18 months (see graph below), my surgeon now thinks I should pursue early salvage radiation therapy and I agree, but now trying to decide on the

Medical marijuana
Hi! I’m 53 year old women with RLS. I weaned myself off requip in January, my symptoms weren’t that bad for awhile but lately they’re coming back and getting worse. I am so scared to go back on any type of medication that could cause augmentation. Has anyone here tried marijuana? Legal or illegal? I’

66 year old father - prostate cancer spread to pelvis - advice please
Hi all, I'm posting about my 66 year old dad. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer this year and had a radical prostatectomy in late July. His starting PSA was 7.5 and he had gleason 4+5. He had a scan pre-surgery and they said the cancer was contained in the prostate. He got his bloodwork back and

Statin use and risk of PCa biochemical recurrence after radical prostatectomy.
New study below [1]. "In the largest reported surgical cohort to date, we investigated the effect of statin therapy on BCRF {biochemical recurrence free} and overall survival in patients with CaP who have undergone radical prostatectomy (RP)." "We performed a retrospective analysis of men (n = 3,088)
