Faslodex/Fulvestrant update
even though I’ve convinced myself it’s bad news and I’m either going to have a
mastectomy
, change drugs and go straight to hardcore chemo and lose my hair… I’m just processing the possibilities whilst clinging onto positivity. What the hell is under my armpit?

Pain caused by Letrozole
Been on Letrozole for 10 months due to my hormonal breast cancer to which I had a right
mastectomy
. It is ruining my life I’m in constant pain every joint especially my knees! I have loads more side effects can’t imagine another 4 years of it!

LETROZOLE
I had a 2cm lump plus nearly 3cms of calcification which was pre cancer so opted for
mastectomy
with no reconstruction best decision for me! It was so quick just 4 weeks from being diagnosed to having
mastectomy
and in the middle of covid!

For UK members an interesting study of statistics and chemo..
Being someone who chose not to have chemo when I had cancer de novo because I was counted low risk and the statistics seemed good for me (had
mastectomy
). I survived the 10 years referenced in the statistics and in year 11, I was diagnosed with MBC.

Question on treatment options (long)
I am 67, breast cancer survivor (diagnosed 2014 with stage 1 and did not need chemo or radiation but did take a pill for 5 years and had a double
mastectomy
) and in 2021 was diagnosed with endometrial stromal sarcoma which was treated by a complete hysterectomy and chemo.

Single and living with MBC
When I inventory all that breast cancer brings with it (
mastectomy
, treatments, mouth sores from the treatments, joint pain, I could go on forever). But last but not least atrophic vaginitis from the lack of estrogen in body!!! Ouch!!

Breast cancer and Lupus.
Was diagnosed with breast cancer last November, so because of family history, I've had a
mastectomy
. I'm now due to have chemotherapy to start next week. Has anyone else had breast cancer/chemotherapy and ongoing.

Low BP and more fluids
I had breast cancer 4 years ago+
Mastectomy
, chemo and Herceptin. I now have moderate HF with low EF caused by treatment. I am being treated with Ramipril and Carvedilol. I have no symptoms. But now my BP tends to drop from time to time making me light headed.

Not able to tolerate olaparib, anyone?
Dear Lovelies, I have now developed severe low haemoglobin twice in the 4 months I have been on olaparib- four blood transfusions in total and am off olaparib for the second time. I am BRCa 2 , so really had great hopes as Brca2’s tend to respond well on this drug, cancerwise. . Everything else on the

Are there any members of this group that currently have metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the abdomen/stomach area?"
My original diagnosis (1995) was invasive lobular carcinoma (
mastectomy
, chemotherapy, and tamoxifen), and I had a local recurrence to the chest wall in 2005 (radiation and Femara).

The thing is, there was never any pain with my neuropathy after the
mastectomy
/lymph node removal, just numbness. My meds list looks like a phonebook almost (well, only 3 pages) & it would be heaven if I found proof that I don't really need them all & could drop a page / 2 (or even half).

Ovarian Cystectomy
Hi, how are you? I'm 40 years old and I have an ovarian cyst that doctors believe to be an endometrioma (99%) for two years now. I have no symptoms whatsoever. Doctors want to perform an ovarian cystectomy due to the danger of torsion or cancer ( my mum had breast cancer). Since I'm not in pain, I'm

Cancer again
Thinking of a
mastectomy
this time but still concerned that the CLL might be an underlying cause. Any comments would be very appreciated as I really don’t know where to start with this new diagnosis.

Happy New Year
My
mastectomy
11 years ago revealed both ductile (7mm) and lobular (5cm) masses. No one...or no biopsy report...I've seen distinguishes the current lesions as one or the other. Scan after scan I'm always surprised nothing is found in my gut. I have pains and GI symptoms the scans don't explain.
