Very high lycopene
My first battery of blood tests in relation to hypo shows excessively high
lycopene
. (1.62 for a range of 0.5 to 1.3). I cannot find any information on
lycopene
imbalance, only that it is a good thing, but even too much of a good thing can be bad. Does anyone have info on this? Thanks so much.

White Mushrooms and other recommendations from Dr. Dorff at City Of Hope
She did add that there was "
other stuff that seemed to be helpful like pomegranate juice,
, soy, and green tea, so having those things in your diet has to be a positive." She didn't mention blueberries but they are one of the things painted on the walls.

Lycopene
I started including tomato paste (high in
lycopene
) in my morning breakfast smoothie (about 2 oz). My next PSA was 0.09. Will have another PSA in about a month and see what is happening. Best wishes

Psa drop with modified citrus pectin and lycopene and keepin Psa low to cover my uncertainty
For 6 mos I started about 7 g of modified citrus pectin and
lycopene
Dailey and Psa dropped from 3.3 to 2.78 in a period about a month . Hope it’s cancer kill and just dormancy or just a Psa drop. Can’t be proved without a scan and big pharm can’t make money on it

Lycopene, Heat, Magnets
Nothing seemed to make much difference except
lycopene
.
LYCOPENE
Lycopene
, as in heated tomato based foods, (tomato soup, pasta sauce, catsup, taco sauce, etc.) reduced inflammation at pain spots in my back, lymph nodes mostly.

Lycopene + Sulforaphane - Forms, Dosage, Upsides, Downsides?
With that being said, it appears that tomato paste is the way to go for
Lycopene
(2 tablespoons a day?) I decided, since it's cheap to also take one 10mg
lycopene
supplement although studies show it's really the actual tomato product that works, not the supplements.

The remaining I think have weaker/conflicting evidence or no evidence of positive benefit on slowing PCa progression. 6) Curcumin 7) Pomegranate 8)
Lycopene
(only in form of tomato concentrated products - paste or sauce, not supplements or raw tomatoes.) 9) Acetyl L-Carnitine 10) EGCG (Grean tea catechin

Can I take Imedeen if taking Theroxine 50
From sources across the web I found it contains: Grape seed extract, Zinc, Vitamin C,
Lycopene
, Vitamin E. Imedeen is a marine extract rich in proteins and polysaccharides similar to those naturally found in the skin's supportive tissue, are essential for skin structure and moisture.
