Albutrix made me feel more ill every day I took it.
Albutrix made me feel more ill every day I took it. At 17 days I really felt like I was dying, so I quit it and improved after a couple of day. About 5 days later I tried it again at two tablets a day, two days in a row, and again became very ill. About a week after that I learned that while taking Albutrix

Lung function after having pericarditis
Has anyone been told that they don’t have any signs of pericarditis or effusion but has been left with breathing and lung function not as good as before falling unwell with this awful condition ? I was told a few weeks ago that my treatment was successful and my heart is completely back to normal size

Noise in chest at night
Several rounds of antibiotics this summer. Had some small bleeds. Bleeds have stopped. Done with antibiotics. But I’ve been having noise in my chest. when I lay down at night. I Think it’s from all the mucous I have draining. Pulmonologist said my lungs sound good and ct scan looked good. I’ve had this

What do you think of my diet?
Hello everyone, My name is Michael and I am a food lover! In recent months I have changed my diet and eat pescetarian. I have made a small compilation of what to look for when eating. I can gladly explain these top issues even further. What do you think about it? Is there anything missing, or do you

"feeling fat over 40?"
Interesting article in Times 2 today (I only have hard copy; the soft copy is behind a paywall, sadly) with the above headline. Fasting cholesterol blood test
Does anyone know if the fasting cholesterol blood test a spot check on what you’ve eaten the night before? Just asking because I’m sticking to a very low fat diet but my results were not as good as expected. Unfortunately, my last meal before my test was not as low in fat as normal.

Bisoprolol and low mood
I have only been taking 1.25mg bisoprolol for about 1 month but I have started feeling really low and a word I don't like saying is depressed. I have had bouts of depression on and off for years but this time it feels worse. Could it be a side affect of the tablet? Thanks for reading.

Newly diagnosed with Asthma
I caught COVID back in March 2020 and struggled with breathing for most of the 2020. I'm a cyclist used to riding 100+ miles per week and I was struggling to do 30m. I eventually got diagnosed with asthma due to COVID and prescribed FOSAIR 100/6 which really did work. My peak flow is 590 and with the

Right decision?
Also struggling with anxiety/
low

which is probably why I’m second guessing the decision which I thought we’d made. Thanks for reading and any advice would be appreciated.

Peak flow after blue inhaler
Hi all, I was diagnosed with asthma during the first lockdown and I've queried the diagnosis since the blue inhaler never gave me much relief from my symptoms. I've never had an asthma attack as such but what prompted the diagnosis was the fact that I had an episode in which I was bent over my kitchen

Why is my peak flow dropping & should I be worried?
Hi. I'm new here. The average peak flow for my age, height & gender should be around 400. Before lockdown, it was around 350 but has been dropping since an exacerbation in May. This morning, it was at 160. I'm not a smoker, but do have open gas fires, have just bought two air purifiers and exercise

Do I need to alter T4 dose during 28 day cycle.
Blurry vision requiring my glasses daily again, extremely
low
mood
, and I don't recognise myself. I really don't know if it's my TSH again which has reached 0.0 or it's because I'm a week away from my period or both.

Making Good Choices can Pay Off.
I've just received my latest battery of routine blood test results...all 18 of them!!.... and was very happy to see that every single result was within normal parameters and with 'no further action required' for any of them. This felt like a huge achievement, particularly as I'd recently stopped taking
