Fairly new to all this...
In need of Kidneys and
Liver
transplant
, I reside in El Paso, TX. and need to travel to Dallas, TX. for treatment at Dallas Methodist Hospital. It's been rough these past two years, I thought I could do this alone. But I am wrong, lost all my friends, family is trying but it's not easy and cheap.

Post Transplant Fatigue
Hello, I had my
liver
transplant
just over 6 years ago now and apart from an issue right at the beginning, I have been well. I’ve not even had covid! Recently though I’ve begun to feel very tired again, almost as if I’d never had the transplant at all.

Ischemic Cholangiopathy following liver transplant.
Hi All, I wonder if anyone on this site has been diagnosed or had a family member/friend receive a diagnosis or ischemic changiopathy following
liver
transplant
surgery? I received an urgent transplant in December 2022 and recovered well up until April/May when the problems started.

Possible Kidney Failure
Hello: My husband had a
liver
transplant
many years ago and has done very well, for which we are very grateful. Since October of 2023, his creatinine started rising and his egfr started falling. He had blood work done several times since then.

Chronic Liver Disease Post Transplant
Hi, I had a
liver
transplant
in October 2017 and apart from a little set back right at the beginning, meaning I was in Addenbrookes for 5 weeks, I have been really well. I haven’t even had Covid! However a couple of months ago, I had a CT scan which showed that I have chronic liver disease.

previous question
About 25% of those who have a
liver
transplant
have the PBC reoccur. It isn't the old
liver
that had the PBC- it's something within our bodies that attack those bile duct cells. My PBC returned (very mildly) about 3 - 4 years ago. I have been blessed with 18+ years of life!

2) we’ve been told she isn’t a candidate for
liver
transplant
as her general health isn’t strong enough, and as such we are now waiting for the end. Does anyone have any insight from experience or whatever of how long that might mean?

He also suggested that I get in contact with Mayo (Missouri) Clinic to get to know the
liver
transplant
team...I'm not sure if I do this? or does a doctor refer me? I live in Springfield il. I'm not even sure about a timeline on everything. I am to repeat the scan in 3 months. Thanks

PBC - liver transplant donors and blood group questions
Hi - I either read on this website or the PBC Facebook site in the last couple of weeks - referring to if potentially one day a
liver
transplant
is needed, that being a specific blood group type can limit the number of potential donors you may have?

We understand....
In my initial bio, I related to you that I had PBC for some 20 years before receiving a life saving
liver
transplant
almost 19 years ago. In about 25% of those with
liver
transplants the PBC returns.

Liver Transplant - Lest we forget
All the imagery people who complete the various
liver
scans. Right up to the
Liver

team, and of course not forgetting those special people who stand by us during these difficult times. Our Wives, Husbands, partners etc. I had my
liver
transplant
back in 2016.
