Defenestration or detouring of cysts in PLD
Recently went to King’s London for possible liver transplant tests due to a large polycystic liver and they feel it is the wrong time. That enough good parts of my liver remain. However it is very large and they are considering draining the cysts. Anyone out there had similar experience ? Jo

LFT with High Billi
I mentioned before my wife passed away in Jan 2023 due to renal failure. The One Doctor continues to argue she had decompensated cirrhosis. Her last LFTs were really good, actually beyond AST that bounced around when she got sepsis. They remained within a few points of the levels below. Her INR fluctuated

Hi all :-) I got told years ago I had NAFLD and no one really said it was a big deal. I was young (ish) and didn’t do anything about it. I was totally symptom free and then had an endoscopy for acid reflux (so I say “symptom free” but not sure if related but I know lots of people with acid reflux with

Having a rough day as carer
I'm having a rough day today. I got really overwhelmed last night with everything and usually wake up feeling better but I haven't!I'm so tired of caring for everyone, even mentally, when it's not physically. I keep feeling tearful because I wish, for just 1 week, someone would care for me this much!

Only symptoms were ascites and weight loss, about 3st. 8 litres were drained from abdomen at that time and I have never had any liquid build up since then. I am completely compensated
