LIVER PAIN?
I'm getting weird dull aches under my ribs on the right side. I read that liver doesnt have nerves so you cant get pain from it. Is that true? Could the ache be my inflamed liver pushing against my ribs or damage like fibrosis from inside my liver. I'm sorry to bother you with it but you all seem to

My daughter was diagnosed with Alpha1 Antitrypsin deficiency at 8 weeks old she is now 6 and was doing really well until her most recent appointment, we have been told that she now has fibrosis of the Liver. We are just awaiting her blood results for a plan to be put in place. I was just wondering if

Normal scans, mostly normal blood tests. Can you still have HE?
I have had abnormal LFTs for 2.5 years (that I know of - no tests before). Normal ultrasounds x4, normal HIDA, normal CT scan, normal fibroscans x2 showing F0 and approx 240 CAP. An MRCP showed sludge when I was pregnant. I went and got my gallbladder out which showed chronic cholestasis but nothing

Hi, I've been diagnosed with NAFLD for quite a while and recently had a biopsy. I've received a letter this morning from the consultant saying that I have significant scarring and that I'm at stage 5/6 for fibrosis. I've been advised to become permanently abstinent from alcohol and to get my BMI below

Liver enzymes elevated
Hi everyone! I was diagnosed in 2019 and have been on mtx since then. Remicade was added in 2020 and I’m doing great on both of these meds. My most recent ALT was 129. Up from 44 which was a few months ago. Prior to starting meds my enzymes were in the teens or below. I have messaged my doctor and am
