Gelatin Good for Liver
Has anyone tried eating more gelatin (not Jello) but real gelatin to heal their liver? I have been reading about it and the amino acids in gelatin are supposed to be good for healing the liver.

Blooming bleeding.
Hi I would appreciate if others could share how they deal with regular lung bleeds. This morning it occurred again, around 10ml coughed up, but I did swallow some. It seems to be every ten days or so and lasts a few days. The most was 60ml or so. Consultants say it’s just part of bronchiectasis for me

Alendronic acid, Hydroxychloroquine and Prednisolone
Hi to all and hope the new year (freezing January) isn't doing too much damage to you. Last year I wrote about the horrors of my spontaneous vertebral fractures. Sorry about the original spelling mistake in that post. My tablet refused to put the r in vertebral! Since then I was doing well. Slipped

Alendronic Acid
Good morning! I have been taking Alendronic Acid once a week for the past 8 weeks. Last night 1 side of a tooth crown broke off (it has been cracked for the past year). In the expectation that I will get to see the dentist next week, do you think I should NOT take the AA dose due tomorrow ... I do

To take Alendronic Acid or not
My GP has contacted me and wants me to commence Alendronic acid for steroid induced osteoporosis. I asked him about a bone scan but he said no need as I need the treatment regardless of the results of a bone scan. The only problem is I do not feel happy taking Alendronic Acid with all its side effects

Supplements. Where are we now?
In the first years following my diagnosis in 2016, i picked up a lot of ideas and suggestions for supplementation. There was a lot of promotion of Co-enzyme Q10, NAC, Creatine, Omega 3, Milk Thistle and lots of others as well. Recently and over a period of time, talk about supplements on this forum and

Don't know if anyone has heard of these pills I found on amazon. Haven't ordered them yet but the reviews from others with rls are good. What do you all think? Calm Legs Natural Sleep Aid for Natural Itching, Crawling, Tingling and Leg Jerk Relief with Iron, Magnesium, and Valerian

Supplements - food allergies
I have an 8yo with severe food allergies and his only supplement he takes is multivitamin and iron. I believe he doesn't get enough omega 3 so I also try to add flax seed in his diet (not consistent though as he is a picky eater due to the food allergies). Anyone have any recommendations for supplements

Excellent appointment with the rheumatologist.
I saw the consultant rheumatologist today and she couldn`t have been nicer or more helpful. She said I`m doing very well and to keep doing exactly what I`m doing now. She is happy that I`m using the dead slow taper and said that is what she advises her patients to do if they have problems lowering their

Just checking
Have had PMR for a year and a half. Recently tried a taper from 8 mg to7.5. Started just after Christmas, after a six week battle with a cough and while feeling more tired than usual. A wee bit of pain came back in shoulders and hip, and an overpowering malaise took hold, although I really wasn’t aware
