IV Alpha Lipoic Acid Treatment for PBC and autoimmune hepatitis
Has anyone looked into or done the IV alpha
lipoic
acid
infusion treatment for PBC, developed by Dr. Berkson? I've been diagnosed with overlapping PBC and autoimmune hepatitis and doctors are hesitant to prescribe immunosuppressants since I recently had breast cancer.

B-12 is Low (398), Folate is High, HCY is 55.6, uMMA is 1.7 , vitamin D and C and Magnesium are Low, all B vitamins are low.
Why is the GP not taking my labs seriously, I've been taking methylcobalamin tablets for a year and just began 5-MTHF because of Folate Deficiency found in my DNA, GP declined to do a MMA Blood serum test, I have been allergic to milk and beef since birth, peanuts followed with life threatening allergies

Small steps on the journey back to NSR
OK, I'm probably going to sound hopelessly optimistic here, but yesterday evening I met my EP Cardiologist who was giving a talk and update on AF and it cheered me up immensely. We hadn't met, but the technician who fitted the monitor told me to "make myself known". So I did. For the first time since

Good morning everyone. I saw my cardiologist yesterday as Iām having a new knee next week and for my own peace of mind had an echocardiogram which shows my heart is now as it was before AF and high blood pressure were found 3 years ago. She said this showed my blood pressure tablets and healthier lifestyle

ļ»æAlendronic Acid and Pred
ļ»æMy friend who's a long term sufferer of pmr (11 years) was down to 2.5mg but after a mishap had to back to 5mg. She had a review with a new young GP who told her that if she went back on Alendronic Acid, this would help her get off pred. Has anyone else been told this? Wouldn't we all be on it

Alpha lipoic acid
I read recently that alpha
lipoic
acid
may help with pain in the feet and hands, and help you handle glucose. Does anyone know if there are contra indications from breast cancer (and the drugs that treat it) to taking it? Thanks in advance.

Brief update on my lower Intestinal Tract Capsule Endoscopy.
Just to let you know that the procedure went fine. Although the camera was a little larger than an Omega 3 high strength capsule, I found that with the right mindset I swallowed it easily. The staff were a little disconcerted about my long term steroid use and the possibility of an adrenal crisis and

Vasepa (icosapent ethyl)
I have been prescribed Vasepa (icosapent ethyl) for several years now to lower my triglycerides and it has worked very well . I also know that it is a specific omega-3 fatty acid EPA and now I'm wondering what effect it may also have on my recently diagnosed fatty liver (S3) & (F3)?

vitamin advice
hi, Iāve got myself bogged down in an effort to take supplements to help with bone loss. I was diagnosed with osteopenia following a DEXA scan. I donāt want to take Alendronic acid and my GP agreed with me taking vitamin D3 + K2 mk7 and magnesium glycinate and to have a further DEXA scan in three years

Having two contraceptions
Hi, I'm about to get the Mirena coil but I'm currently on the depo injection. I was wondering if it's ok to be on two contraceptions at once? I'm thinking it might help with the transition and pain as I'm really struggling to get strong enough pain killers from my GP. They have prescribed mefenamic
