Hello beautiful people, My latest TSH is 0.66 and had to lower thyroxine just a bit (from 100/88 to just 88) as was getting some hyper symptoms and felt way better with a lower dose, finally have energy and drive again! My T4 is healthy range, 60% through. However, my T3 dropped to just 10% of the range

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's about five years ago and have been taking levothyroxine ever since. While my blood hormone levels are within range, I still have the same symptoms, namely weight gain, mild depression, a lack of energy, feeling cold all the time and hair loss. After reading

Advice with Graves Disease
Hi All - I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in June 2023 and prescribed Carbimazole 20mg plus Propranolol 80mg Sustained Release. Swallowing issue
It's not a huge deal, but I seem to have some trouble swallowing lately (last month or so). Could that be related to my thyroid meds adjustment? I added T3 (15mcg) to my 75mcg Levo about 7 weeks ago. Or IS IT POSSIBLE to have a goitre inside the throat area that doesn't show on the neck? I do have Hashimotos

Wits end
I need some advice please. I am currently on 300mg of pregabalin and one codeine tablet a day but this has stopped working. I struggle to get to sleep and when I do I am woken after 1 - 2 hours with restless legs and sometimes arms. I am at my wits end with exhaustion. I had a full blood count recently

COMBINATION THERAPY IS NOW UNDER REVIEW
This review indicates how and why combination therapy may be used in treatment. Interesting in itself, but another example of cherry-picking evidence ( we aren't mentioned in spite of starting this concept in 2012. Good cliquish admission where the "nonprofessionals"are best kept well out of the limelight

Swallowing problems
HiDoes anyone have an issue with swallowing. I've been told my muscles in my throat spasm causing me to vomit 2/3 times a week. I am hardly eating anything and what I get down is a liquid diet and 8 months on I'm fed up. This has caused a pharyngeal pouch. I've seen an ENT specialist for this and I've

High Peak Flow but Wheezing and Phlegm x 4+ Months and Intense Fatigue I usually only get asthma as a secondary condition - with hayfever or a chest cold, etc. Since the first week of January, I've had constant fluid on the lungs - now a yellowy brown, which I cough up - but wouldn't say I have a

As an American living among far less progressive standards I’m so glad to discover this community. I’ve been trying to focus my brain cells to make this brief as I can. Thanks in advance for your generous reading. I’m a 60 year-old female who has for five years reported memory and cognition changes

are hot flushes associated with hypothyroidism?
I’m in the process of being investigated for hypothyroidism, after a couple of private blood tests, most recent showing TSH of 5.06 mIU/l, free T3 of 3.9 pmol/l, free T4 14.3 pmol/l, TPO Ab 41.7 kIU/l My GP has been very supportive and has me booked for these tests to be repeated on the NHS to confirm
