Brighton virtual 10k aka “BM10k [TheEdit]” run report
We were both running for the Brighton based charity called Speak Out which is an advocacy charity for people with
learning
disabilities
. The weather was perfect for running 13 degrees, sunny intervals, with a 12 knot NNW wind which shifted to a headwind for a kilometre or two.

Can't get my brother to helping needs
My brother who has
learning
disabilities
and autism was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2008 he has been on 25 kg since then. His case so his GP said it's a little strange because when he has a blood test his blood results show that he should be taking more levothyroxine.

Hi. I recently went for an hearing test, knew my hearing one side was not good. After the test he asked me some questions ‘did I have have tinnitus in one side’ Yes. Did I have facial numbness - yes. He then dropped the bombshell that he suspected a tumour. Eventually got to see my doctor who referred

Adult Learning Disabilities back to college
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well during this time. I’m just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with their sibling/sons/daughters going back to college? My sister is 30 and doesn’t have a lot of options for activities. I’ve found a course I think would be perfect but I’m just conscious

to get a mortgage, and if anyone has done this with their family member I would be interested to know of your experience.

Help I’m confused
Hi there I am sure this is a familiar story but new to me so any advice welcome. Started to experience ‘heartbeat sound’ in my right ear so went for a hearing test. Audiologist said my ear was so full of wax that he couldn’t see my eardrum. Advised me to use olive oil spray then see a micro suction specialist

Hi, I have tinnitus and I believe some hearing loss in my left ear. I saw my gp today who observed my left ear canal is pink and inflamed. He then suggested I get a spec savers hearing test and return to gp if my ear beings to itch or is in pain. I am concerned I’m being fobbed off here but I really
