Belly button incision
Had a
laparoscopy
on Monday, got told to take my bandages off yesterday. And I just don’t know if my belly button looks like it’s supposed to? And how am I supposed to clean in there without disturbing it too much? :(

I had

ICU and osteoporosis
I have quite a basket of post-ICU/ECMO/covid/coma health issues, but the majority of them have been known to me since I left hospital, eg denuded lungs, heart, neurology issues, muscle waste, fatigue etc etc. However, a small bombshell has landed in my lap just recently. I have now also been diagnosed

What has helped you to prevent endo?
After the lap, my surgeon recommended I go on cerazette, but the last few days I have been getting really heavy bleeding. If it does continue I will reconsider other options as I believe 20% of women on cerazette experience heavy bleeding the whole time whilst on this contraceptive pill which leads to

Desogesterel and anxiety

I have covid, can I have my laparoscopy next month?
hi guys, I have tested positive for covid for the second time as of today, and I’m worried about the implications on my planned
laparoscopy
. My pre op appointment is on the 13th of August (15 days away) and my surgery is scheduled for the 22nd (24 days away). I’m not sure what to do!

Anxious about getting a diagnosis
I have the option to pay for a private
laparoscopy
next month which I really want but will impact me massively financially as I'm only 21. I'm so worried though that they won't find anything which will be really heartbreaking to have no answers and have paid so much.

Passed from pillar to post, feeling ignored and dismissed
After this the pains got much much worse, many more trips to the doctor, a and e visits (vomiting from the pain, large bleeds, lost huge amounts of weight also, so now under weight loss team) Finally got to the
laparoscopy
and was sterilized at the same time.

? Hernia or adhesion post laparoscopy
I had my
laparoscopy
with ablation 9 weeks ago. Have felt some pain on my tummy which had felt muscular since the op but noticed I have a small lump which feels almost bruised when I touch it. Could this be a hernia or an adhesion and is it worth speaking to GP?

What will happen in my gynecology appointment
I'm assuming it won't be a
laparoscopy
as surely they would have to give me more info regarding this? Maybe I'll get more info closer to the appointment. Anyone else got experience with NHS gynecology appointment for endo?

Chronic Fatigue in Pelvic Pain Disease - Endometriosis/IBD/Bladder Pain
A letter was written to my GP and I was referred to general gynaecology for
laparoscopy
as I could not afford the private surgery. I expect to be seen in Nov/Dec this year.

17 days post lap, bleeding and pain terrible!
Can anyone give any advice? I’m of the understanding that the first period after excision surgery is bad, but I seem to be going backwards in my recovery? The pain has been debilitating and I’ve had to delay my return to work. Does anyone have any advice? Or encouraging words? I will speak to my

Panic over endo surgery
Hi there,I've been waiting for laparoscopic surgery and a cystectomy for some time to treat what has been classified as severe endo. I got a call to say they are booking me in and now I am really panicked. I have never had any kind of surgery before and, because of where the endo is, I'll also need

Has anyone else had experience of a negative/clear

after previous endo removal, and with pain still present? Thanks
