Endo and IVF
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with severe endo last Jan. I have low amh (3.5), my tubes are blocked with hydrosalpinx. I started my first round of IVF in November and sadly it failed. At my first consultation, my consultant gave me two options - a laproscopy (does this remove some / all of the endo?

MRI Results Help Please!
Hope everyone is doing well. I got my MRI results today and was looking for help with some of the jargon please. I know there is a lady who is very good with the medical terminology. Googled serosal disease and that didn't sound good. Dr told me it's significant endo, adeno, bowl stuck to ovaries. But

Post lap bloating.
I had my
laparoscopy
4 days ago, I'm quite swollen still, how long does it take for the bloating to subside?. I also had endometrial ablation and a mirena fitted, could it be the hormones too?. Also I read about mirena perforation, and now I'm paranoid that's going to happen to me 😆😬.

Is this a lupus rash
Hey everyone.I'll try and keep this short. Ive been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, pernicious anemia, lots of back disc issues, an exploratory lap for endometriosis which came back clear, my thyroid labs are poor but in range so not medicated but I am positive for tpa antibodies. I have had a positive

Endometriomas returning
Hi ladies,Im wondering those of you who have had endometriomas return, how long was it post lap before they come back? I had surgery in March 23, where I had extensive adhesiolysis and drainage of 2 9cm bilatreal cysts. I noticed a few months after I had similar recurrent pain as pre op, and brushed

Is surgery usually the only option?
Hi, I have a history of Endo and possible Adenomyosis - previously had cysts and lesions removed during
laparoscopy
(not sure if it was ablation or excision - it was over 10 years ago & I was quite uninformed at the time).

Zoladex Injection
Hi 😊 Please could anyone share their experiences with the zoladex injection? My gynae has suggested going on it for 6 months with the HRT pill, to help with endo symptoms. I know there can be a lot of bad side affects to taking this and I’ve read about a few bad experiences already, but I’d anyone

Poor communication or misunderstanding?
So... I saw my NHS Consultant on Monday about my leg pain and inability to walk when flaring and we discussed my surgery etc and I left the appointment feeling pretty deflated. Long story short she's told me I have to go on the progesterone only pill while I wait for my 1st Lap (hopefully less than 6

Laparoscopy and bladder /bowel retention
Hello, I'm hoping someone else may have had a similar experience and can offer some advice. I had extensive endo surgery last week, a lot was removed and a part of my bowel/ rectum, vagina and kidney tubes were removed and stuck back together. Since I woke up form the operation I haven't been able to

Romsey 5 Mile run
This was the second time I had run at the Romsey 5 Mile event. Last year it was freezing cold but sunny, this year a bit grey but no actual rain, hooray, and it was definitely a few degrees warmer than the preceding days had been. Took me ages to decide what to wear! The location was the beautiful

update!
Hi guys, I posted a few months ago about my laparoscopic diagnostic surgery. They didn’t find endo however I was convinced that I had it regardless. I took all of your advice on getting an opinion, and I am now seeing an endo specialist instead of a general gynaecologist and wow you can tell the difference

W9:1, a cramping run
Kiran Ghandi ran the London Marathon in 2015 with her period, sans the usual paraphernalia to prevent anyone ever knowing. It wasn’t pre-planned; she’d trained for a year, race day came, and it arrived unexpectedly, as they can do. Pads and tampons and period pants and menstrual cups can bring a variety

Post diagnosis limbo
Hi everyone,I had my lap in September last year and the surgeon said they found endometriosis, cysts, adhesions etc and removed them. This was all said to me as soon as I came round from the anesthetic and I haven't had any follow conversation yet. I just feel a bit in limbo as I'm still experiencing

Short Version: I’ve got a small head, I bought a head-torch, sent it back, did some running.
Long version: I hate shopping for headgear. The problem is, I got me one of them little-heads. Not on a Microcephaly, or Beetlejuice scale (as pictured), but I don’t think I can legally ride a motorbike due to the potential for the crash-helmet to rotate a full 180° in the wind. I hate online clothes
