Finally nailed 10k!
13 months after starting C25K and a couple of months out injured after getting to week 9 run 1, I'm over the moon to finally post that I've done it! 10.17K in 1 h 10 mins, slow for a short 45 year old lass but there are a few steep hills in the gale force wind and rain fighting it all the way (excuses

I cant decide if i have RLS or not
Hi, I'm new here. I'm a male 28, I have been struggling understanding what's wrong with my legs for a while now, and I can never seem to really hit all the right symptoms. I have been an avid runner for years, been running for probably 10 years and been loving it. But about 5 or 6 years ago I discovered

protective behaviour from dogs?
I have noticed a very lovely thing while out and about. I am very much a dog person but cannot have my own due to my medical challenges. Several times now, while out on my mobility scooter, when I stop to say hello to a dog (with owner’s approval), I noticed that often they will gently place their chin

Mirena coil malposition, low lying
Hi everyone I currently have the Mirena coil which was inserted/replaced during my lap in March 2021. I just had an internal ultrasound due to ongoing add increasing pain to check if any new cysts and luckily none found. However my Mirena is low lying at 7mm low. I have a history of expulsion and malpositioned

Zoladex and bleeding
Hi, I’m new here! Just wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen. So I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery in November 2020 and started my first round of zoladex in February 2021. This completely stopped my periods and helped eased my constant pain so it was more

Endo, adeno and PCOS. Any tips?
Although I experience pain, I am very fortunate that this improved following my
laparoscopy
and that, when it occurs, I can often manage it with prescription painkillers. However, I suffer from fatigue on a day to day basis, and at times it is incredibly debilitating.

5cm deep ovarian cyst - not sure what happens next
Hey all, Some of you might remember my post from last week where I said I felt blindsided by finding a cyst on my ovary on an ultrasound 5 weeks after my
laparoscopy
! I found out later that week that it was a 5cm by 4.7cm deep cyst in my right ovary. I had a blood test done and it came back normal.

First Gynae Appointment
I had my first appointment today, a last minute one, I want to say it went great but it went how I thought it would. I explained everything, she pushed hormones on me repeatedly, just not Mirena as my womb is the wrong shape for it. She was against a lap, as she said they’d treat with hormones anyway

Doctors BBC1
Hi ladies, The soap Doctors on BBC 1 started a story last Monday with a woman collapsing in pain, sent to A & E and an emergency lap. They are now debating whether a referral should have been made sooner and it looks for an interesting watch. Stay groovy warriors xxx

Short notice Gynae appt! Help!
I was called yesterday to offer a gynae appt on Monday, so 3 days after the call! What do I say to make them actually do a lap? How do I respond to “We’d just treat with contraceptive anyway…” Top tips people! I really want them to do a lap so I’ll know either way, I don’t want an assumed diagnosis

Ovarian cyst found 5 weeks AFTER laparoscopy - so confused!
Hi all, Just when you think the worst is over, I’ve just been for an ultrasound to check if my coil I had fitted during my lap is in the right place as I’ve had bad pains, and luckily it is however he showed me a cyst on my right ovary. I had a lap 5 weeks ago and was told in the post surgery report
