I need your wisdom! Losing my eyesight...
Hello, This is the first time I've posted a question to the community. I would be very grateful for this community's huge wisdom especially as I am managing some tricky health conditions. I was diagnosed hypo-thyroid with Hashimotos when I was14 but only given thyroxine about 7 years ago. I'm now

Update on thyroid results and advice on hair loss
I really want to get a handle on this, if there is indeed a thyroid problem that is causing hair loss. Never had hair loss until after menopause. My TSH and T4 numbers from seven years ago until I started measuring the full panel in the last three years always hovered around TSH 1-2 and T4 1. Before

So I've had chronic daily migraine for the past 3 years. They're always on the left side of my face from my eyeball all the way down to the base of my neck. Current treatment: botox, tizanidine, midrin, norco, cambia, tea tree oil, cold gel packs, promethazine. I switch up my rescue meds when I take

Fish oil supplement
Hi! We've tried a few fish oil supplement but eventually my 8 year old son gets tired of it. We tried Nordic Natural's kids fish gummies and latest Barlean's citrus swirl which literally taste like orange sherbet (I would make him an "orange shot" that was about 4 oz of OJ with the fish oil swirl, I

Reversal of Cognitive Decline. Food for thought.
This is a study done in 2014 of patients with Alzheimers. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4221920/pdf/aging-06-707.pdf In this study patients were treated with a complete set of complementary therapies. Individually the therapies showed no benefit, but when taken together there appears

Crutches...I know you have one!
So what's your crutch... that one thing you need to hold to not feel crazy? For me... my phone, essential oils, cold water, calming music... must always have within reach! Unhealthy...probably but it gets me through. You?

Of all the supplements, vitamins, minerals you've ever routinely taken, what most helped your thyroid, if any?
Hi All, I have been trying to increase my low minerals and blood readings - in my case, Vitamin D, Ferritin, and (I'm debating further intake of) Iodine….And thats all aside from supplements I've taken now for decades like:
Krill
Oil
, Biotin, Magnesium, Tumeric, Zinc, Copper, Don Quai, Evening Primrose

Supplements
I think I have missed over the years, many of the vitamins and supplements that people have taken that have more than anecdotal evidence. Some, via the internet, seems confusing to me. I have upped my exercise to include 3 days a week weightlifting and 6 days a week cardio. I want to improve muscle

Atrantil review
Brief overview: I think the product helped me significantly, although it was far from a miracle cure for all my symptoms. I have a diagnosis of IBS with a hiatus hernia. Atrantil is a herbal medication devised by an American gastroenterologist interested in SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth

how I turned round my depressions
When I was born, my mother didn't bond with me, as a result, I didn't eat properly. I grow up with an eating disorder of which I was completely unaware. I'm like an iron board, very skinny. Depressions where normal all my life but never wanted to take antidepressants as I am very obstinate. Only over

GP feedback about supplements
Previously, I asked everyone about supplements... what and when to take them, with all my other RA medications. There were quite a few replies and I got more confused than ever. So, I've just come back from seeing my GP and I also spoke to the pharmacist. Both of them said the same thing. The fact that

When to take supplements... so confused.
So I'm more baffled than ever when to take supplements because of other pills I'm taking. Here we go... Before breakfast: Thyroxine, omeprazole and folic acid. With breakfast: diclofenic & paracetamol, sulphasalazine, omega 3 fish oil, MSM, glucosamine and turmeric. Evening meal: hydrochloroquine,
