I had valve replacement four days later.Since then I have had routine follow ups. I am taking Ramopril, Amlodopine, Bisoprolol. Frusemide etc. This week

Ovaries- stay or go?
Hi everyone. After over 30 years of pain and extreme bloating over the last two years, I’ve sadly no other option than to have a hysterectomy, I’ve been told. I’ve only ever had two laparoscopies in 2012. They’re reluctant to remove my ovaries, stating all the health related issues it can cause,

Zoladex wearing off??
Hi all, I've been on Zoladex since march last year , last week I had my 16th and final jab. Since January I've been getting alot of the Endo flare ups but they haven't been as intense as previous. So whilst painful I could still function to some degree. Last night however I had some spotting and pain

Under Active Thyroid since 2006
Hi All I was diagnosed back in 2006 with Underactive thyroid. I was put on Thyroxine but it never really agreed with me so weaned myself off of it in 2013 after a complete diet and lifestyle overhaul. I pretty much felt ok until September 2020 when I was completely exhausted and blood results showed

Fibroids
Hi all I have fibroids (multiple but about 4.5 cm). I have had to wait over a year to see a consultation and just got back, what a waste of time. I have many typical symptoms, I am exhausted with constant heavy feeling, stomach, groin, back and leg pain, problems with needing to use the loo suddenly

tumour and menopause
I had a seizure June 21 and they found a tumour on my temporal lobe. Had it removed, well as much as they could and they also found another small one where they can’t operate. Found out it was grade 4 but since then had radio therapy and a years chemo pills. Through all this I felt ok with little side

Thyroid Result Advice Please
I have attached a copy of my results below. I do not have a diagnosed thyroid problem but am trying to see if there is a link with my symptoms. I became perimenopause 2.5 years ago but in the last year the symptoms became severe with psychological and physical problems. HRT has helped but I am left

PPP and menopause
My sister experienced PPP after her first pregnancy. It took around 6 months to establish a medication routine that worked for her, and she has managed her subsequent bipolar diagnosis for 17 years. She started experiencing menopause symptoms and started HRT, and altering her meds, and then spiralled

zoladex/HRT pending hysterectomy
I started on Zoladex a week ago, alongside HRT. I am on the surgical waiting list for a hysterectomy with a view to keeping my ovaries as I am 34. Since the injection I have had a horrible stomach ache (alongside the usual crippling pain) but I can’t eat, I feel nauseous and I can’t open my bowels

Is thyroid hormone replacement allowed to take when you are on a BTK inhibitor?
Hello, beautiful community. My thyroid replacement therapy is finally stable after years of struggling and I'm afraid the BTK inhabitor can affect either treatment?. The new challenge is, that, I'll start treatment for Lymphoma/CLL. As you know, here is a guideline for not taking some medications
