Vasculitis in the pancreas?
Has anyone with GPA or MPA been diagnosed with pancreatic issues due to vasculitis? Hubby had has GPA for 15 years, kidney transplant and sinus involvement and most often in remission until now. He has lost 40 pounds( not trying) and must take enzymes to digest food with a very bland diet. All this happened

Utis and clear urine.
I dont think conventional wisdom is the answer to my question.Every six weeks i get my sp catheter changed. When the doc changed it in the cystoscopy room, twice i had clear urine and no utis. Anywhere else with that doc or nurse, i get utis and or muddy urine. I say the air is filtered better in that

This is a protein made by the liver, the level of which is measured as a part of your liver function tests. The albumin plays 2 important parts: 1. It carries molecules in the blood that are not water soluable. When bound to albumin, the molecule becomes water

Macrophages, type of immune cell, tied to lupus nephritis in children
M1 macrophages may cause more severe kidney disease in young patients Inflammatory macrophages, a type of immune cell tasked with clearing the body of harmful invaders and dead cells, may be linked to more severe lupus nephritis in children with systemic lupus erythematosus, a small study suggests.

Abdominal burning pain
Do people suffer with burning pain, a bit like IBS pain, but more constant and burning anywhere across the abdomen. I am still awaiting tests to confirm PA, but I know I have a very high pH, so almost no stomach acid, which is obviously causing the pain. I eat a varied diet, not much in the way of processed

Liver transplant vs kidney transplant

Dialysis or transplantation
Hallo everyone. I want to start form little story. According to my nephrologist I have CKD because of genetical legacy. And it seems to be true. My sister had a similar diagnosis. In her's 23 she went to PD. It was in middle 2000's, local dialysis treatment was not so developed as now. She needed

Update- Moderna Spikevax
Just to update. Received blood result and all within rang with the exception of Lymphocyte count which 3.1 only slightly over range. CPR 4 g/L, ESR 2. Which rules out PMR flare. So onwards and upwards, definitely downwards with Pred.-so pleased. I am now wondering whether the muscle paralysis I had

High stomach pH
I have just done a second gut microbiome test. The first one I did in August last year showed I had a score of 7.2, which indicated I have little stomach acid. The one I have just done has come back higher at 8.1 (ideal range should be 5.8 - 6.5). Does anyone else have this? Is is a good indication
