IVIg infusion clinic help
hello, I have been advised to do both intralipid and
Ivig
infusion for my next FET with immunotherapy. Our doctor is ok for us to do
IVIG
elsewhere to save money. I’m based in London and prices for
IVIg
are scary. I’ve read of people who travelled to do it abroad: where did you go?

IVIG with CALR ET
Has anyone with ET/MPN ever received
IVIG
? I have ET and my platelets are in the mid to high 500k range on 1000mg HU daily.
IVIG
has a risk for blood clots but it appears to be one of the few things that might help with a severe neuropathy I’ve developed.

Kesimpta and IVIG?
I have had many infections over the last 4 months. I have been on Kesimpta for 2years. Anyone else have that problem? Any luck with immuno therapy? Thank you!

Intralipids, IVIG experience?
Hi, is there any of you who suffered from a number of implantation failures and finally achieved successful pregnancy by using intralipids /
IVIG
? Any good (or bad) experiences of using them?

Has anyone had IVIG as well as intralipids - within the same cycle?
My last cycle I had
IVIG
, steroids and clexane (no intralipids) with a tested embryo and it failed. This embryo is not tested which actually makes me think maybe I should save the
IVIG
money for donor egg cycles (as I am less confudent than I was with the tested embryo)?

return of immune system
My immune system has still not returned and I’ve thankfully been given
IVIG
infusions to help me out. I was told my immune system would return one year after the completion of Obinutuzumab infusions and those ended in September of 2021. Has anyone had the same issue? Thx.

Advice needed
I had a follow up today with my consultant who said exactly what I thought she would - that we could try a repeat ERA or
IVIG
to help with immune suppression. I really really don't want to have another ERA test (timing and money) and
IVIG
is £2000 a pop so not really viable either.

In Remission for a year
The first time I had less then 10 for a couple weeks which was brought back to normal with
IVIG
and promacta. I was on medication for a month then none at all. Platelets went back to normal for 14 months before less then 10 again. Shorter time to return to normal 2 weeks after
IVIG
and promacta.

FIRST IVIG
I was nervous about starting the
IVIG
, and was aware that some people get unpleasant side effects frequently including headaches that can last, dizziness, weakness, etc, and in some cases some dangerous ones.

Is there a risk of IGG atrophy when getting regular IVIG transfusions?
I am not currently on any medication… but I qualify for monthly
IVIG
based on old measurements. I like being able to get it, but not if it means I will become dependent on it forever. Does IGG recover with successful treatment on its own?

CLL + Bladder cancer + prostate cancer
I've been diagnosed with Cll since 2016 and been on Acalabrutinib for 2 years which is working really well along with monthly plasma
ivig
infusions. I'm 63 and male and fit and active. I just got diagnosed with Bladder cancer with a medium grade carcinoma.

IVIG - how soon does it benefit?
I think what we were initially told is that
IVIG
is basically like pouring immunity into the body, but not sure if that’s overstating it a bit.

Success stories/advice after multiple miscarriages
This miscarriage hurts as we tested our embryos this time around so it should be a normal embryo, we had PIMSI to support with male factor infertility and high DNA fragmentation, I had
IVIG
and have been taking prednisolene as I have elevated cytokines. This was our 5th transfer.

I feel like I get some protection through my

Autoimmune Encephilitis
They are treating her aggressively with 7 days of steroids and 7 days of PLEX, and talked about something called
IVIG
after those 2. She hasn’t talked in the past week, only opens her eyes every other day for a few seconds, and cannot communicate.

Getting IVIG prophylactically?
In 2021, he got
IVIG
after a bout with immunthrombocytopenia, and it was event-free and successful. During recent hospital stay for the staph infection, an
IVIG
was started. However, about an hour into the infusion he had a fairly strong reaction (rigors) and it had to be stopped.

First IVIG infusion
I've been on W&W for almost 7 years and I can't say im not concerned/anxious about starting
ivig
this coming Tuesday 8/8. This is the first time my immunoglobulins have been exceptionaaly low instead of borderline.
