Sensitive: nervous 14dp5dt
I’ve been fairly calm this
ivf
round, but since yesterday I feel like my anxiety is through the roof. I’ve been testing since 8dp5dt and much to my surprise we had a positive. This is the first one in our long infertility and
ivf
journey.

prednisone or not?
During our last
ivf
round we had the tests for NK cells and were advised to go on to prednisone after transfer etc. So now we’re in 2 minds, we’ve somehow fallen pregnant on our own, no meds so far (started taking folic acid today) and just unsure what to do.

Chemical pregnancy first experience - any recovery tips?
For the first time in this
IVF
journey I've had to take a few days off work to process it all. I'm now experiencing fatigue and headaches and generally just a bit 'spaced out.' Does anyone have experience of this and how quickly did you start to feel a bit better?

Shocked, scared, confused and excited *sensitive*
I had my first cycle of
IVF
in April which sadly didn’t work and I got my withdrawal bleed on 1st May… So I was expecting my next ‘natural’ period by yesterday so that I could get started with mg second cycle but there was no sign of it.

3rd Round failed of IVF…Loosing hope 😢
Just wanted to come on here for some support as I feel Iv hit rock bottom. 5 years now of infertility and from that we have had 5 transfers, 2 miscarriages and now another failed attempt. If we do decide to go ahead we will be going to another clinic and paying for this treatment. Just not sure what

Gaia funding / insurance? Any recent reviews
Hi, I'm looking to start my fertility journey again soon, moving from IUI to
IVF
. Gaia popped up on my Facebook feed so wondered if anyone had recent experiences with them? Noticed a post from 4 months ago and 8 months ago but thought I'd see if more people have tried it. Thanks in advance

D&C miscarriage- next steps?
Hi fellow
ivf
warriors, I had a d&c on 29th March after we discovered no heat beat at 6 week scan. Without speaking to my
ivf
consultant (which costs £175 a go) I'm just wondering what should be my next steps?

*Trigger warning* He’s arrived!
Thank you to everyone on this forum and on the TTC fertility forum, I absolutely could not have gotten through the past 3 years of relentless trying and multiple
IVF
cycles without all the invaluable advice and support of this community.

Double transfer issue
After 3 fails in a row (and low quality frozen embryos), I have requested a double transfer for my next
ivf
round. My clinic are not supportive of a double transfer (they prefer single transfers due to risks etc). However I feel very strongly about a double transfer. Do I have any rights on this?

RFC F****ng hurry up!!
it’s been 5 months since my failed
IVF
cycle and no word of any chance of trying again! You’ve got my life in your hands and you are holding my little embryo hostage in the freezer!

Clinic Referral/Changing Clinics?
Hi Folks, Pursuing our first round of
IVF
via NHS funding, we've finally been told the consultant is happy to refer us to clinic and that in our area it should only be another 3 months or so before funding is approved and we will be able to start treatment straight away.

Is Laparoscopy worth it based on my symptoms?
Just pay for hysteroscopy to remove fibroid and hope this improves symptoms and wait on nhs waitlist for laparoscopy (if seems like needed) The fertility clinic doctor say laparoscopy not worth it and to consider

if trouble conceiving but wonder if they have vested interests since they are an

*Sensitive* - hope for multiple ectopics
It wasn’t until our 4th round of
IVF
and one of the lower graded embryos that we got that long awaited BFP. So don’t give up hope if you are in a similar position, it can happen. Wishing you all so much luck in your journeys xxx

Any tips for IVF?
That being said I am getting side effects and would love any tips regarding
IVF
in general, specially the below: - Should you mention that you're going through
IVF
with your employer? As I understand
IVF
is not covered at all. Any tips on how to best manage all the appointments while working?
