PGTA testing results in over 40s- what are the success rates?
Hi all, We are about to get ready for our 2nd
ivf
cycle and hoping to have enough embryos for PGTA testing this cycle. Have any over 40s had this done and what is the likelihood of having a chromosomal normal embryo?

Norovirus during ivf cycle?
hello I just wondered whether any of you had a stomach bug before your egg collection and what the outcome was? I’ve started vomiting and I’m supposed to be starting stims around Christmas Day… thanks

Fresh IVF transfer - progesterone level
Hi All, Im just wondering what our progesterone level should be, around transfer? I had a progesterone test 3 days post egg retrieval, which I received today and it measured at 190.8nmol/L, is that too high? (First progesterone level tested before embryo transfer - so I have no clue). Many

Hi all I am looking for some help and advice. I am 34 years old and had a MMC 2 years ago and since then i have had irregular periods and have been unsuccesful in trying to fall pregnant. I have had hysteroscpies and an MRI which shows no problems and that I am ovulating and everything theoretically

What changes did you make between Cycle 1 and 2?
We are having
IVF
due to MF issues, but looks like my egg quality isn't the best either. What changes were made to your protocol between cycles 1 and 2? Did you make any specific life- style changes to improve chances/ increase egg quality? Were the results from Cycle 2 any different?

IVF Implantation Tips - Age 40, Never Pregnant
Hi all, I have my baseline scan booked this Friday. Start injections Saturday. I’ve never been pregnant. Me & my partner have both been tested I’m ok (apart from age) and he has low morthology 1% otherwise tubes ok, AMH 11, AFC 21. I am prone to thrush and feel having never been pregnant it could be

If anyone has experience of this clinic could they please DM me? (Please don’t post here as otherwise the admin will have a hissy fit, though they’ll still probably post under this to DM only 😂).

NHS Fundes IVF
Hi all, Just wondering if the NHS fund frozen embryo transfers? I’ve been on the NHS waiting list for a year + but went private for my first round. I have just been contacted by the NHS for an appointment in Jan 2024, but have frozen embryos with my private clinic as my first transferred sadly

Synarela stopped no bleeding or periods yet.
Hello everyone , I am 39 years old lady and was under
IVF
1st cycle treatment. Doctor started synarela first and later on Menopur injection but afterwards in Ultrasound they found some liquid and not much matured eggs so discontinued the procedure.

ICSI risks?!
Everything went well on my side; I was elated with my 20 eggs 💪 but the embryologist decided on the day to do ICSI instead of
IVF
due to my partners sperm. 7 fertilised the next day and they're now in the freezer until we're ready to transfer next month.

Angry at the world today
I really want
ivf
to work but some days it feels so hopeless and I'm so tired of hearing other people's baby news, especially when they already have a child and had no issues conceiving. And mother's day feels like the heaviest weight too.

self funded NHS route vs private clinics: pros & cons ?; quality of treatment, costs & Time
-I've heard of abc
ivf
that appears even cheaper than the nhs self funded route but it appears they are a mild/natural
ivf
clinic, is there any major disadvantage to that ? I don't want to sacrifice quality because of cost and then end up having to repeat the process and spend twice anyways.

OTD - BFN
I wish my
IVF
story for a sibling could have turned out differently. Last embryo, last chance and then against all odds - a BFP. But sadly, I have no inspirational
IVF
fairy tale here. I know that age is a number and so many women have had successful rounds at a later age than me.
