More Exasperation
She's trying me on
Ipratropium
Bromide. I asked her to give me a check up to make sure the recent chest infection had gone, thankfully she says it has. I asked her if she could tell me what my lung capacity was and she started showing me figures I didn't understand.

Does anyone else get this?
Atrovent is a brand name for
ipratropium
. Anyway, it seems you are seeing your doctor about this but perhaps best go back and maybe see another. A lot of people here also have problems with no wheeze and doctors. Do you have a spacer to help with inhalers?

Constant productive cough and voice problems
Went through chest x ray - clear, treatment with antibiotics and steroid sprays -Clenil,then Qvar, Ventolin,
Ipratropium
etc. none of which seemed to help. Spirometry inconclusive for reversability - about 7% I think.

Relievers for reversibility test
I seem to respond better to Atrovent and best to both salbutamol and
ipratropium
combined. Is there any way of requesting an alternative to salbutamol?

DIFFERING OPINIONS HAVE LEFT ME CONFUSED.
Two further colds triggered a tight wheezy chest and as advised gave salbutamol and
ipratropium
. He also has had to have short courses of prednisolone and a few trips to AnE to have nebulizers and oxygen.

Newbie!
She is on the blue reliever and brown preventer and has just been given a green and white reliver called
Ipratropium
. We have 4 cats, and although they don't seem to trigger her asthma I was wondering whether to rehome them?
