Mucus back again
Hi all. As some may remember I suffer from ongoing mucus discharge from rectum. I had a colonoscopy done year and 3/4 ago and clear. All tests.I went gluten dairy free. It worked and did stop it happening everyday but for some weird reason past 3 weeks I've had all my symtoms back again with vengeance

How to cancel social events
Hi ladies. Hope your flare free.I'm looking for advice on social events. I know this is so minor in comparison to other issues, but I'm really struggling. I'm currently waiting on my 3rd surgery for hysterectomy and bowel resection. My life is tough at the moment holding down a stressful full time job

Lymph node Metastasis
After 7 years, and multiple PSMA scans, my husband had a FDG CT scan and it showed what they quoted as “several” metastasis In the lymphs In the para aortic area in abdomen. One doc wants to biopsy to check if cancer DNA has changed from original pathology in 2017. Another doc says… No to biopsy due

Lactose intolerant
I am changing from Armour Thyroid to synthetic T4 and T3, due to cost and that a local Endo has agreed to this on the NHS. However I’m super sensitive to lactose and the hospital pharmacy are dithering about finding lactose free options. Does anyone know which brands are lactose free please?

Prednisolone and Omeprazole
I have had PMR and GCA for 7 Years and was told I had to take 10 mg daily of Omeprazole which I have been on for the 7 Years. I am now on 3mg steroids but have been getting a lot of tummy upsets and wondered if the long term use of Omeprazole is causing it. I have gone Lactose and Gluten free as well

Positive Cologuard
63 years old, never had colonoscopy and now feel I’m gonna pay the price. No cancer in family (yet), was having no symptoms, went with Cologuard which came back positive in June. Right after that developed extreme stress and anxiety due to mother passing and trouble in family. Then the next week symptoms

Haemorrhagic colitis
Has anyone else been diagnosed with Haemorrhagic colitis, or heard about haemorrhagic colitis. This was diagnosed following a colonoscopy where they found 3 sites x 3cms and treated it with argon cautherisation under general anaesthetic (although they keep telling me it was not ga). I also have endometriosis

struggling!!
Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing ok. I’m hoping that someone will listen to me and offer a bit of empathy. I only have my husband to talk to and he’s good but he really doesn’t get it. I’ve had IBS for many years but was formally diagnosed about ten years ago. For me it can be constipation or diarrhoea

omeprazole
I’ve been given omeprazole to take to protect my stomach while taking steroids. I was given them when I was taking strong anti inflammatory pills before they agreed for me to try steroids. They cause wind and constipation so wondered if anyone had the same experience or if they were taking something
