Inhalers
which I use once a day, and a blue relief inhaler, a lung specialist told me quite candidly that there’s not a great deal he can do. Have been told that I don’t need oxygen at the moment. Finding it very difficult at the moment, this fibrosis is worse than the cancer Stay safe everyone

Work related
Ive not had a letter from NHS although all my meds and
inhalers
are on their list. What I'm really asking is what shall I do? I hope all this makes sense! I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance.

Asthma or not???
I have been so appreciative of help from you all. My dilemma now is am I a true asthmatic or victim of allergy. I have had side effects from Fostair and Budesomide . Last night I stayed off my inhaler to test my reaction. This morning my peak flow was usual 550 and SP02 97. Am I being foolish to wonder

6 months post Ablation
Hi all, hope you're all coping well in the lock down. It's 10 weeks for me now since I've left the house and garden and definitely feeling the need to get out. After a few months of taking it easy I've started to put a bit of work in on the garden that has involved a fair bit of manual effort. My episodes

Exercise asthma - use of prednisolone
Long time reader, first time poster. I am in my late 60s and have had asthma pretty well all my life. For almost all of that time it has been pretty well controlled. I have always maintained a good level of physical fitness and ran marathons, played football well into my 40s. I still walk and play golf

Well one more to go. Honestly thought I wasn’t going to make it today after having to take my inhaler 4 times yesterday my hubby actually asked me last night if I had corona as I’d been coughing all day. Seasonal asthma is killing me!!!

Rinsing after Fostair?....
Hi all Recently I've been using quite a lot of Ventolin....I was in Clenil as well. Anyway, I spoke to my asthma nurse yesterday, she's put me on Fostair to try....well, I must say, it's a relief to have to take one puff morning and evening....I can take one in the day if needed....but this is from 3

Wk 9 Run 2 - didn't make it 🤷♀️
I only made 16 mins today because my Asthma is playing up a bit. I've had bad Hayfever and Sinus head for a few days and have noticed being a bit more puffed out than usual but nothing bad, so I still went for my run thinking it would clear my head like usual. I just couldn't control my breathing,

Beautiful day out there, getting up and out to do this sets me up for day. Slight problem today, forgot my inhaler but I got through it and made my way home and now I'm buzzing! Sun's out, done my run, now to relax 😊🏃♀️

Need help understanding living with asthma.
Hi folks, I have been living with asthma for only about a year and a half after having an asthma attack that landed me in ICU for 8 days. I am okay now and have not had any incidents since. But the last year and a half has been problematic and confusing because I am constantly feeling like my airways

Bronchiectasis?
They gave me
inhalers
, and the brown preventive inhaler seemed to work pretty fast and after a few months my symptoms had disappeared. I've never needed to use the blue reliever one.

Peak flow test
I have recently been given a peak flow test to test for asthma. I am waiting a call back from my GP. I was told to do the test and then again after I use the inhaler. My question is how long do I wait after using the inhaler before I do the peak flow test? Thanks

Struggling
My
inhalers
would literally gather dust (not good I know, but shows how controlled my symptoms were!) Then 6 months ago, my symptoms started developing again and I would use my ventolin more frequently. Visited the asthma nurse in February and she put me on clenil (2 puffs twice daily).

8 minutes x2 wooohooo
Just finished wk5r2 and I feel amazing. I have never run for that long in my life. And I didn’t even need to use my inhaler once I am so proud of myself and how far I have come in 5wks I didn’t even feel out of breath at the end and felt like I could have run further. I was nervous about the 3rd run
