Taken off Inhalers
So after taking a very long history he tells me to stop all
inhalers
. That’s it and good luck. Nothing about the significant decrease in my numbers, nothing about my current symptoms. How I feel etc. All in all a little confused & puzzled about where to go from here.

Ventolin and other Inhalers
(I am allergic to lots of things inculding a lot of the vegetable oils often used as emulsifiers and surfactants in
inhalers
). And now I hear that GPs are refusing to issue Ventolin to those of us on repeat prescriptions because the overuse of it can be "dangerous".

Asthma and Bisoprolol
Hi, I have seen a number of posts where people with Asthma have had problems taking Bisoprolol and wondered how widespread this problem was. Inhalers stopped until next year
I have been in a state of stress for many years due to them stopping
inhalers
for both me and my son randomly, and the stress exacerbates my asthma. I can't live through winter without an inhaler....

Dehumidifier - worth getting?
I was diagnosed with Asthma in December, but my first maintenance inhaler made me worse, so I only started on the current one (Clenil Modulite) two days before we went on holiday. We were staying in a warm, dry house right by the sea. I felt awful when we set out to go there, but within a couple of

I first joined this forum some 10 years ago when my husband became very ill with COPD plus various cardiac issues. He sadly passed away almost 6 years ago so my contact with the forum stopped. My own health was reasonable - just high BP - but was constantly stressed because of trying to help my husband

Gasping for breath
I have new
inhalers
and some pills, but no medical person will believe me that
inhalers
have never helped me with a bad attack. I used to use DO DO tablets or chesteasy ( same thing) but they are not made now unless anyone knows better. or can advise me on substitutes.

Admitted - sigh
Got admitted again, despite being on Xolair and maintenance Prednisolone. Feel slightly disheartened? I'm hoping to leave tomorrow, but I'm struggling tonight, just using my inhaler. Hope everyone's New Year is going well.

Asthma or not?
Hi. I haven’t used a reliever or preventer asthma pump since august as I’ve been fine symptom free.. I went to the gym the other day and started feeling short of Breath easily and have done for a few days now.. I still haven’t used any inhaler as I’m not sure i have asthma due to my peak flow being 800
