Influenza A while on W & W,-- the price for not wanting a vaccine
I decided to put my pride and lack of articulate writing skills aside to share a my learning experience . It was in Jan of 23 when I was told over the phone of my CLL Dx. I walked around in a panicky daze. First I went to Mr Google. (BIG MISTAKE !) I started clearing out the house and giving things

Flu shot debate, I've noticed a decline
My mom is 94 and a sibling took her for a flu shot without my knowledge. I then visited my mom about 10 days later and noticed her blood pressure was up to 198, even while lying down. I took her to immediate care where they brought it down but it continues to stay higher than usual and the cardiologist

pneumonia vaccination
I have been told to get my pneumonia jab , i’m not worried about sore arm, but i’m just a bit concerned i might feel poorly after. I didn’t feel poorly after my flu jab or covid booster. Any reassurance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Waiting time after initial diagnosis
HiHow long on average is the wait after GP referral to Cardiology department? Was diagnosed in Sept 2023 whilst attending a flu jab appointment. Have not heard anything since, have tried chasing the hospital but unable to speak to anyone. TIA

Hello , I was diagnosed with PMR in September 2012 . I had returned from holiday , had my annual flu jab and noticed awful stiffness in my arms and hips whilst at Yoga . It increased to agonising electric shock pains , from shoulders downwards , my biceps would almost spasm and go hard , the pain

My Last (IFN) Dose, my Fateful Decision One Year Ago
This is a long and not cheerful post, I understand if you don’t wish to wade fully or at all thru it. Sections are marked for easy reference. The thoughts are my opinions only. -- I wrote a few months ago on my botched flu vax anniversary. Today is the one year mark for my Last Dose of Besremi

Covid and flu vaccines
I unexpectedly had Covid and flu vaccinations today whilst at the doctor's for something else. Was putting it off but glad it's done now. Today is the day I usually inject my MTX and one nurse said give it a miss this week whilst another said to do it as normal. I decided to give it a miss. Is there

Flu shot
I got the flu vaccine on Saturday. Since then, I've had a burning pain in my upper right leg. I think it's a side effect of the flu shot. Muscle pain is listed as a side effect. What do you think? Thanks!

reducing Prednisolone
I have had PMR for eight years and for the last five, I have been on 3 mg of prednisolone. My GP was concerned that I had been on Pred for so long. My blood sugar is normal as is my DEXA scan, although it does show slight deterioration in my spine. However, it’s within the normal range. First rheumatologist

hello
I was diagnosed with PMR about four years ago. Generally I am a positive person and I don’t dwell on my symptoms but getting off prednisolone seems to be impossible. I get down to 1mg then it flares again. I’m beginning to see a correlation between the flu vaccination and a flare up. I try to think
