20 years on, what impact has the Nobel Prize for medicine had on our immune systems?

Trial at the Christie
Hi, Since my last post about
Immunotherapy
a lot has happened, I was initially going to start on Docetaxel/Nintedanib tomorrow as the trial at the Christie was full. Then i had a call from them to say there was a place for me after all and i start the screening process on Thursday.

New treatment strategy could cut Parkinson's disease off at the pass
Their study in mice and cultured cells suggests that an
immunotherapy
already in clinical trials as a cancer therapy should also be tested as a way to slow the progress of Parkinson's disease, the researchers say. A report on the study appears Sept. 30 in the journal Science.

Am I Crazy- PCa Reoccurance
So the conundrum ( as I sit here in great health) take my chances on slow growing cancer, try natural approaches, wait for better treatment options i.e
immunotherapy
etc. and hope it doesn't jump the borders and metastasize or take boiler plate treatment . Your thoughts please. thank you.

ALK+ NSCLC
I currently am taking Alectinib along with an
immunotherapy
called Atezolizumab. My tumors have been stable since January of 2016. At my last PET scan in June, the only tumor that is still active is one in my liver. I go for a biopsy next week.

Lung cancer? Me? No way.......
My mutations are negative and so are my tumor receptors so both targeted and
immunotherapy
are not an option for me. There will be others like me, and we need more research to find out more about curing this deadly disease. I trust in God, and together with God's help, I will get through this.
