Lung cancer stage 111b
I'm very scared but trying to be optimistic get the results on the 9th and if the
immunotherapy
is working will get #4 treatment on the 10th. The waiting is terrible praying each day it's working. How do others cope advice would be very gratefully accepted.

Precision medicine-how effective?
The fields of precision medicine and
immunotherapy
have come to realize that targeted therapies are capable of not only inhibiting tumor cell growth, but also promoting antitumor immunity by modulating the tumor microenvironment.

Radiation targeted and tumor Infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL)
Oncologist recommended trying a 3rd
immunotherapy
, which I, at this point, am opposed to. His theory is "maybe" the Yervoy has changed the environment for the tumors so returning to a different PD1 (Optivo, thank you commercials) may help, because he had 1 patient where this helped.

Immunotherapy???
My 46 yr old daughter had melanoma and had metastasized to her brain, over 30 tumors there, but also in liver, adrenal glands, lungs, pancreas, spine and various small tumors in other places Her
immunotherapy
“ Opdivo” was not the right choice for her.

Immunotherapy and hyperthyroidism
Hi everyone, Wanted to find out if anyone has experienced hyperthyroidism as an side effect for chemo or
immunotherapy
, Keytruda specifically. What happens during this time? Shall we stop
immunotherapy
and treat for that or my dad can continue chemo/immuno and treat for hyperthyroidism too?

Melanoma radiation for shoulder planned
We are feeling grateful to have plans in place to move forward since more
immunotherapy
is not available (He's had 42 treatments of Keytruda and 3 of Yervoy). Since he is Wild type the BRAF specialist in Columbia recommended none of those meds for my husband.

Medical Cannabis for Pain Management in Cancer
By the time they did eventually bring in other products, I had then had progression and was Opdivo (
Immunotherapy
) which was brand new at that time.

Ice-Cap immunotherapy trial update
This
immunotherapy
trial is designed for patients with advanced solid tumours with PI3K pathway hyperactivation. Today I got the scan results after three cycles which show no tumour progression and no significant SE's.

Small progression of lepto whilst on keytuda, advice and treatment options
would they do this AND
immunotherapy
at the same time? Or does
Immunotherapy
have to stop first? Would anyone suggest WBR now to try and control / reduce the lepto whilst she is still robust and healthy? My thoughts are yes.

Chemo-Free Treatment Best Option for CLL Patients Under 70
Results of the phase III ECOG trial found that the combination of ibrutinib (Imbruvica) plus rituximab (Rituxan) came out superior to the chemotherapy and
immunotherapy
(chemoimmunotherapy) grouping of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab, known as FCR.
