Immonotherapy Overview
I came across an overview of current
immunotherapy
approaches. It has a lot less jargon than most research papers. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8910587/

NSCLC again 18 months after radical radiotherapy. Oncologist says it appears to be the same cancer as before.
He was advised he can’t have radiotherapy again (understandably) and has been referred onwards for a consultation/appointment to consider if he can have further treatment for the new small tumour ( I am not sure if
immunotherapy
or targeted may be considered ).

Updated information causing confusion
My local oncologist recommend Y90 and
immunotherapy
. The cancer research hospital referred me to the transplant team at another hospital. The transplant team recommends another resection. These are the issues.

Rewriting the SCLC Narrative
Beginning
immunotherapy
that same month by April 2021, a mere seven months later, there was no longer any evidence of disease. Is that hope? Perhaps for others, but for me that is reality. My cancer journey was months not years and had no side effects whatsoever.

Is anyone being treated for colorectal cancer with any success with
immunotherapy
. My tumour was removed successfully but I have lymph involvement. I know it’s great for shrinking tumour but what about the lymph gland involvement. Any help gratefully received.

mad, sad, frustrated, worried ☹️
In lieu of starting Jeff on a PARP inhibitor, he wants him on
immunotherapy
, likely Keytruda. If this happens it won’t disqualify him for LU-177, but instead might buy him some time. His PSA more than doubled in less than a month … currently 589. This is all so horrible.

Treatment post ADT failure?
My oncologist has talked about a few options - Apalutamide,
immunotherapy
, chemotherapy. LU-177 is only available to me in a randomized trial (50% get a placebo). As I understand, from all the available options for us LU-177 has shown the best results.

Treatment Failures
I have had targeted therapy,
immunotherapy
and chemotherapy. I am still alive after 2 years but the expectation at the start was 10 years. My cancer has changed from the start when it was EGFR positive, ALK negative but I'm not sure quite how.

Treatments and Surviving Cancer
I did
immunotherapy
for 1 year. Today I don't take life for granted, but I enjoy my life and spend a lot of time with my grandbabies that God blessed me with to the fullest. I have started traveling more to see sights that I want to see.

Anyone have any info or experience with Dr. Gary Onik and his Immunotherapy?
Does anyone know how his
immunotherapy
compares to Provenge and Car-T? His treatment is all private pay and is upward of $60k. We do whatever we need to to get that if we knew there was a good chance of helping. What are the potential downsides of immunotherapies?

Close friends like Wendy know that Jimmy had to stop his
immunotherapy
treatment at the end of February. Catch 22. It seemed to be working on cancer BUT it was destroying what little liver he had left. So after discussing with his GI that he loves and trusts, he opted to stop treatment.

HCC Any New Up to Date Recommendations?
And
Immunotherapy
. After a consult with all my DR's it is now recommended that I have a consult with the Transplant team at a nearby hospital. So much is happening so fast. It is hard for me to take it all in.

Immunotherapy not working.
Found out on Sunday from CT scan
immunotherapy
not working. Saw Consultant on Wednesday. Chemo next, I'm wondering if it's worth it, can't think positive. I thought
immunotherapy
would be effective, is chemo? Really need some encouragement. Thank you.
