USE OF NSAID MEDS IN PKD
Ever since I was diagnosed I was told to stay away from NSAID medications such as
IBUPROFEN
and NAPROXEN but never actually told why this is. Can anyone on here shed some light on this please and tell me if it’s a helpful tip or a precaution or just in case.

3 weeks post grad and 1 week on the IC!
(To be honest it had been creeping up on me for a while but I stupidly chose to ignore the niggles and ran on
ibuprofen
) Discomfort on the inside of my right knee and niggly discomfort on my left knee has had me on the IC for a week, It didn't hurt when I was running just afterwards, extremely annoying

I want to help my daughter
She doesn't even take aspirin,
ibuprofen
, is vegan and only eats organic, and truly wants to teach everyone to live a sustainable lifestyle. Does anyone out there have any suggestions or ideas I can share with her?

Two years after stopping Ibrutinib muscle pains getting worse
However in the last few weeks I have developed muscle pain in my arm (heavy shopping) and now my thigh - due to swimming weirdly to avoid pain in my hip...anyway the pains have continued and even painkillers- paracetamol and
Ibuprofen
don't seem to work. I am assuming this is CLL related.

What painkillers worked best for you post lap?
I’m coming up to 48 hours post lap and am struggling with pain, the doctor didn’t give me a prescription for any painkillers and I’ve just been using
ibuprofen
but I can only take so much a day.

Do I have ckd?
GP says he will test again on 3 months and I am to eat healthily, which I do as my husband is Type 2 diabetic, exercise and not take
Ibuprofen
. I’m not certain if this is a diagnosis or if I borderline?

Help with pain
I’ve spent the last 2 hours in the bath, have had paracetamol and
ibuprofen
but I can’t sit down, I can’t stand up, struggling to go to the loo and my tummy and back are cramping so badly. I feel really pathetic and just don’t know what to do.

No treatment for endo?
I am not not having any pain at all but I am taking paracetamol and
ibuprofen
if needed. I know my endo has been left as I have the pain now with my period, I am a week post op. I also have a condition, premature ovarian insufficiency which I was also diagnosed with this year.

Has anyone found a good alternative to Tramadol for spinal pain relief?
I have added
ibuprofen
to it as recommended by my GP but that hasn't really helped. Have people found anything better or been ok with Tramadol longer than a few months?

Tinnitus and Hyperacusis
After taking penicillin and a bunch of
ibuprofen
for a week the pain had gone away. I took various x-rays at different locations since my local dentist was closed and I was just trying to find answers as soon as possible.

I am not sure if to take some co-codamol with
ibuprofen
every bone is sore, at least no more meds until next week. At least with the weather I wake up every morning with a smile, it is like being back in SA.
