What’s your experience with painful knees?
I take
ibuprofen
when the pain is unbearable, but I don’t want to have to rely on this. Or, at 72, is this just the way it is going to be? I try to stay active with water aerobics and riding a recumbent trike (my salvation!!) Thank you for any advice!

Ibrutinib and Anti-Inflammatory Medications
Used to use
ibuprofen
, but no longer due to ibrutinib. Any recommendations will be checked with my MD before use. I have used bio freeze. Considering Voltaren creme but, not to sure about it’s safety profile.

Ibuprofen gel 10%
Hello again Has anyone had an adverse stomach reaction from using
ibuprofen
gel 10%? I've had a sore stomach and wondered if it might have been due to the gel I was using on my shoulders and neck. My digestive system is ridiculously sensitive. I've stopped using it and now using Flexiseq gel.

Endo fatigue - how to perk up?
I kind of suspect the heartburn was from years of coffee and
ibuprofen
on an empty stomach (I have mended my ways!). I miss the energy lift of having a coffee (although I knew it was temporary). So... My energy is hiding. I'm in bed (again), futilely trying to recharge.

Aches all over
Also useCBD drops as well as paracetamol and
ibuprofen
. I cannot sleep more because of the pain rather than needing to wee. Anyone else have this problem? I wonder if I need new hips. I had TKR on both knees a few years ago

endo - feeling very low
I just don’t know how to deal with the pain, it’s getting to the point where
ibuprofen
barely works. I wondered if anyone else has all of these exact symptoms too?

What pain relief do you take ?
I’m only taking
ibuprofen
for the agonising pain on the back right hand side of my pelvis/hip. I’m in pain every day and it’s a struggle to walk, at times the pain gets so back I feel like I can hear something snapping, like my muscle being torn apart.

Just checking in again ...
I’m thinking that it’s not related to the PMR as I get relief from 200ms
ibuprofen
(I know, I know, not supposed to take that with pred but Rheumy has approved it).

KEEPING A LID ON BLOOD PRESSURE DURING THE CONONAVIRUS CRISIS
Decongestants and painkillers called NSAIDs, such as naproxen and
ibuprofen
, can increase blood pressure. People with heart concerns should limit or avoid them. Some prescription drugs.

Advice for symptoms, possible thyroid issues
The GPs suggestions (as well as that I could not get the FT3 and FT4 checks mentioned previously) were to stop the
ibuprofen
, get an eye test and to come back in a few weeks. These symptoms are such that they are interfering with day to day life including being able to get into the office.
