Starting CAR-T therapy for my relapsing CLL
After a wonderful run of 69 months on
Ibrutinib
, my CLL is now officially relapsing. I am very grateful to Dr. Byrd and the team at Ohio State for their great care over the past 6 years. But it is time to move on.

Hi My husband is currently on the Flair trial, started June 2016. One month into the trial he got fungal pneumonia, was hospitalised for ten days and very ill. Ibrutanib was suspended for the maximum time, four weeks, that the trial permitted then he was put on a third dose of it ( one tablet) until

Starting Ibrutinib-Or Not?
Hello I'm new to this group. My mom, age 75, was just diagnosed with CLL with 17p deletion. She has no symptoms whatsoever except that her spleen is enlarged apparently. One oncologist wants to put her on IB immediately and but a second doctor thinks she should wait until she shows more symptoms.

Treatment for cll stage 4 with 17p deletion for 63 year old women?
She also recommended
ibrutinib
. But very expensive. Actually I cannot afford. Shall I continue with chlorambucil? Or suggest any treatment etc.

Hi folks, I start my
Ibrutinib
treatment (part of the FLAIR trial) tomorrow, I was due to begin last week but had a nasty viral infection. Does anyone else take this and how long have they been off work?

Cll n Ibrutinib
In December he mentioned about starting
Ibrutinib
next visit. In Dec. my WBC went up from 11 to 19. My hemoglobin from 14.3 to 13.3. I'm a little nervous because of the side affects. I think I need some encouragement from those of you who are on this.

Loss of a great man
He tried
Ibrutinib
July 2016 and had a beautiful response the first 6 weeks which was one of the last times I’ve heard my father say “boy I feel great”. In mid August 2016, the dose was increased and the toxicity levels and side effects became too much to bear.

Neutropenia with Ibrutinib
The doctor says it is very unlikely to be linked to
Ibrutinib
. Yet, neutropenia is stated as one of the side effects. Otherwise, the response to
Ibrutinib
is fine so far with manageable AFIB.

This is my rant for the day
Today is my first day without taking
Ibrutinib
since April 2, 2017. Last November my company made the decision to change insurance providers.
