After a
Hysterectomy
for fibroids & endometriosis 30 years ago (aged 40 years) I started on HRT because of menopausal symptoms kicking in after a couple of months. I felt good on it.

Effects of pain vs effects of meds
After a full
hysterectomy
three years ago, I’m struggling with nerve damage (caused by 15 years of undiagnosed endo) and excessive internal scar tissue, all causing excruciating pain.

Surprise diagnosis, big op looming, scared and relieved
My abdominal cavity is filled with tissue and i now need a radical full
hysterectomy
and abdominal cavity valet urgently by a specialist team as it gave me abdominal sepsis. I knew about endometriosis as two of my aunts had it and unfortunately were unable to have children.

Bowel glued together and severe stricture in colon.
I had a complete
hysterectomy
and ovaries removed about 13 years ago (age 36) due to stage 4 endometriosis which resulted in a frozen pelvis and extensive bowel damage.

Endo and adenomyosis with bad gastro symptoms?
He wants to do an MRI scan, then possibly a laparoscopy and maybe a
hysterectomy
. He said my gastro symptoms are unusual and there might be another cause. I've read that you can get gastro symptoms with Endo and other menstrual disorders.

Long Covid
Hi I’m a 53 year old lady that had a full
hysterectomy
in august 2019 then got Covid 19 in March 2020 and a year on still suffering with Long Covid systems. My hormones are all over the place and the fatigue is impossible at times.

I'm back post-op and going to do it again!
Then was diagnosed with fibroids and had a total abdominal

During my struggle with endo and since my
hysterectomy
, I have been experiencing serious pain and discomfort of my lower abdomen - like a dragging feeling, pulling at my insides.

Missed Miscarriage but 8 week and 10 week scan showed no concern
Just a bit of background, I have PCOS that's managed through a restrictive diet and stage 4 endo but I've had a laparoscopy 18 months ago and a
hysterectomy
6 months ago. We had 4 embryos in total.

Hysterectomies??
But I’ve been thinking recently..at what point is it acceptable to go “Woah..hold on I don’t want this anymore” and ask for a
Hysterectomy
?? Do you have to be in pain for 15+ years? Cause every consultant I’ve seen has said there’s no way that they’ll ever do that on someone my age (21).

Can anyone tell me what my notes mean?
She sent me for ultrasounds that showed ovaries are frozen (don't move) and i'm booked in for an MRI to see the extent of the damage, with a view to performing a full
hysterectomy
which is absolutely fine with me!! In the mean time i'm on Zoladex and Tibolone.

Hysterectomy recovery tips
I'm one of the lucky ones to finally have surgery, unfortunately for me a
hysterectomy
was my only choice left. I know it might not be the end of endo but I've made my peace with it and anything to try and have less pain, I'll do it.

Menopause and problems
Two drs have just casually mentioned a
hysterectomy
as a solution. I’m at my wits end and wondered if anyone has any advice on what questions to ask if they don’t see what’s happening. Many thanks in advance Rfc x
