Post-hysterectomy
I am 4 days post op following my
hysterectomy
- this was successfully carried out laparoscopicly and my tubes, uterus and cervix were taken. With the exception of one being adhered to something, my ovaries looked relatively healthy so I kept them.

On to my next treatment plan...
I had Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer, I then had 3 rounds of chemo, a total
hysterectomy
, then 3 more rounds of chemo. I saw my Gyn/Oncologist in December, & she told me that I was in remission, & my CT Scan had no signs of Cancer.... But she wants me to start a maintenance of Avastin for 2 years.

Pain after Hysterectomy
I've quickly decided to do the
Hysterectomy
as I don't want more kids. It's 2 months and 1 day today since the surgery but I still have pelvic pain, "period like" pain and also no excitement during intercourse (I feel my husband inside, but that's it). Any of you had similar experiences?

Shocker.
The adenomyosis needs treating still and requires MRI and likely
hysterectomy
. No funds for this privately. Separately had been sent appt for last week for the NHS centre again. Cancelled - “staffing”. Difficult to get hold of.

Has anyone their endo return after a full hysterectomy?
I had a full
hysterectomy
back in July including ovaries. The endo had also spread to my bowel. Although I wasn't told specifically, the surgeon said my op went well and so I assumed that all the endo had been removed.

Hysterectomy during covid times
Hello, I've just received the date for my
hysterectomy
- Jan. In the letter it states that I should get a relative to pick me up at 7.15am the next morning which will be less than 24 hours after the surgery. This seems very quick!

Hysterectomy and Hashimoto's
Hello everyone, I had a
hysterectomy
five weeks ago due to Adonomyosis, fibroids and the beginnings of a tumour on one of my ovaries (which partly explains why I've been feeling awful for so long!).

Pain relief
Hi, I have severe endometriosis and am waiting for excision surgery and
hysterectomy
. I’ve avoided painkillers until now because of side effects particularly on my bowel but I’m really struggling to manage now.

Soreness post hysterectomy
Hi there, I had a total
hysterectomy
due to severe endometriosis 4 weeks ago, the operation was apparently quite difficult and 5 hours long, I also lost a lot of blood (sorry to be graphic) My surgeon managed however to do it keyhole which was great, as I was expecting open surgery.

Anyone had Decapeptyl injections and no change in symptoms/no menopause onset?
Am now on waiting list for open
hysterectomy
but wonder if anyone had similar experience or whether anyone had success persevering with decapeptyl or whether it would have worked by now if it was going to.. Thanks for sharing any similar experience.

Severe Endometriosis, Hysterectomy and Bowel Resection
I now need a Bowel Resection with a
hysterectomy
, and via Laparotomy not Laprascopic. Too top off an already horrible experience, I was posted the stoma kit to practise with, no conversation with a nurse, no emotional support, no compassion. Just walloped one more time.

After hysterectomy and surgical menopause
She also said i could have adhesions but won't operate as it could make it worse I am absolutely devastated where do I go from here as my gp won't entertain the idea that I have endo back and don't need a gyny referal as I have had a radical
hysterectomy
do I stick to the 19!

My Gynae want me to have a
hysterectomy
, I also have Adenomyosis. The thing is I know a
hysterectomy
I’ll not cure Endo higher up my body. I think his ego thinks he can fix me with this op, I don’t believe so, I also have many other health problems that I’m scared will be further exasperated.

Hello all...
I have currently done 6 rounds of Chemotherapy, have had Debunking, & a totally
Hysterectomy
. Latest CA-125 was 11, which I'd like to be a little lower. My biggest issue is the Neuropathy in my feet/hands, any suggestions are welcomed.
