Private Surgery worth it?
Hi everyone,I have recently had a follow up with my gynae who has told me that my Ultrasound did not show endo but has shown a mass which they think is either a ruptured cyst or
hydrosalpinx
in my right fallopian tube.

So many questions regards diagnostic laparoscopy
Hello lovely people,I had an appointment with the Endo doctor last week and she suggested going for a diagnostic laparoscopy as she suspects I have superficial endometriosis as my ultrasounds were showing only
hydrosalpinx
that don't justify my symptoms.

Hydrosalpinx. I have a complete left tubal blockage with Hydrosalpinx…my consultant advised me to go surgery before proceeding for the Ivf
am afraid and I dnt want to go for the surgery …the process sounds scary as the doctors themselves advise egg retrieval before the surgery is done that means anything may happen ! Is anyone here with a similar situation?am so depressed

Questions about diagnostic laparoscopy and post procedure
In addition in some point I had an MRI in which they found I have bilateral
hydrosalpinx
which strengthens the possibility of endometriosis as I never had a STD. The last three years I am on the combined pill which has tremendously improve my symptoms , however I don't love it.

Tube removal and FET
Hi guys, Had a HSG done yesterday and it confirmed I have a
hydrosalpinx
. Devastated as we were prepping for FET next month. Had a laparoscopy in Feb which didn't highlight a
hydrosalpinx
so it must be fairly new. Planning to go for surgery to remove my tube with the
hydrosalpinx
.

hello has anyone had or have this. Just got my scan results today and this is what the doctor has told me. Not in person but my text so I didn’t even have the chance to talk to her. Of anyone has what was the outcome and was surgery or anything needed. Thanks in advance 😊

One set back after another
There’s an enormous cyst on one of my ovaries, and what they think is a
hydrosalpinx
. I’ve been sent home with Provera and no scratch. I’m so fed up. I’ve already had to wait another three months to start this cycle because I was so anaemic.

**sensitive** Pregnancy just before laparoscopy
I was diagnosed in early 2021 and told I had bilateral
hydrosalpinx
. The doctors advised me to go down the IVF route and have surgery to remove my tubes. We did IVF in April this year and froze 2 blastocysts ready for after my surgery.

Endo and duplex kidney?
He said along with the endo, I have
hydrosalpinx
and that my womb is blobby and swollen. The pictures he showed me just looked weird and lumpy. During my scan the sonographer commented on my duplex kidney and said that she thought that it might be the cause of some of my pain.

Ever heard of hydrosalpinx? Neither had I.
And then 6 months ago I learned I had
hydrosalpinx
. I also have Stage 4 endo which is chronic and has grown back after having it removed 5 years ago. So on Wednesday, I'm pleased to say that I had surgery. I had both tubes removed. I had endo removed from my bladder.

Over the moon but nervous… pray 🙏 for me!! FT PENDING!
I explained this to my specialist and he said ‘ that’s the cleverest thing a patient as ever said to me’ he said he believes that some
hydrosalpinx
can come and go.

Confusing prolactin results rant and how do I find an endocrinologist privately?
Long story short I had a
hydrosalpinx
(blockage in the Fallopian tube) from surgery as a child for appendicitis.

Constant pain in left abdomen after IVF- endometriosis
My cysts are not back but before FET the doctor said that I might have
hydrosalpinx
based on my USG report. I had left side pelvic pain during ovulation (where my
hydrosalpinx
is) but apart from that no other pain.

Weight Gain with IVF meds (FET)
I had to freeze all as I was waiting a
hydrosalpinx
procedure. Fast forward to the end of July and I started a FET, so began on Estradot patches (2 patches of 100mgs at a time) . I did these for 11 days.

Painful Sex, Bloating & 18 days late on my period!
I suffer with PCO, ENDO &
Hydrosalpinx
. I have been ttc for 3 years now with one miscarriage in 2020. I’m currently on a 12 month waiting list to see a fertility specialist and hopefully get some help with ttc & also Laproscapy surgery to help the Hydro & endo.

I had my tubes removed 6 weeks ago due to bilateral
hydrosalpinx
so I know I’m in better position then I’ve ever been. I’m scared this will fail and even more scared of the possibility of another miscarriage, if it is successful.

Complaining to clinic
After 3 failed cycles and 1 success that ended in a MC I saw a gynaecologist who examined me, scanned me and diagnosed a highly likely
hydrosalpinx
. I got a 2nd opinion and that gynaecologist requested a scan & mri and confirmed
hydrosalpinx
.
