They stopped for years when I was taking HRT pills. I started Estrogen cream which has helped a little but I am

Hello everyone, I got a scare on Wednesday when I went for a routine echocardiogram (prior to bunion surgery next week as I said I had a leaky heart valve which had never caused me any problems and was very minor when they first discovered it about 10 years ago. To be safe they said they'd better check

RLS/hot feet
After passing water I can usually sleep well but recently, and especially following
replacement
of accidentally-fractured
hip
, simply going back to bed after peeing does not relieve RLS.

Surgery with AF
Went in to have knee replacement surgery last week. Got to theatre and heart rate was 140bpm so op was postponed. Problem now is I have to get AF stable before they will do my knee but having had ablation and cardioversion in the past both only lasted 4 months before going back into AF. As waiting lists

Scuba Diving/Snorkeling
When I had surgery, 9 years ago, for a valve replacement, triple bypass and a couple of other procedures, I read that it wouldn't be safe to do scuba diving/snorkeling. I had only ever been snorkeling anyway, so didn't worry about it. However, I have just booked a holiday to Australia, and of course,

Stopping T3
Hello everyone. My mum has been on T3 (50 mcg) for a while (3 years). She wants to gradually stop it, as she was actually misdiagnosed it turns out, but she is afraid because she thinks her thyroid may stopped working due to thyroid hormone replacement. Can any of you suggest, please, how she can gradually
