Hi I am a new member and I have to have a right
hip

Windchill puts us in the minus ➖ numbers 🥶 My brother goes in for

replacement
this morning so prayers are welcome 🙏. He hasn’t felt well this week but they are continuing with surgery 🤞🏼. Best wishes to Kelly also with her back issues 🙏. Seems like we all have something going on 🤷♂️.

CLL AND RA
About five years ago I was diagnosed with CLL, a high WBC but it is steady, I am getting no treatment, just monitoring for now. This month I was diagnosed with severe RA ,with a sudden onset four months ago. Treatment so far is Enbrel and prednisone. I'm working on tapering off the prednisone, and now

Am I doing the right thing?
In December last year I had a
hip
replacement
and at the time was on 1 mg of pred which I stayed on, hoping to come down when things had settled down. In February my husband was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and I decided to stay on 1 mg whilst I got my head around things.

I have to have a
hip
replacement
and my surgeon is worried about an infection as this could be really dangerous for me. He said they would wear moon suits in surgery but he is worried about when the surgery is over and I am back around people.

Morning Back Pain
Hello, I have been suffering with back pain of a morning since I was a teenager. Back then it would come and go. It would only show up of a morning. However, the last 3 years, it's gotten increasingly worse. It happens every single morning now. It wakes me up at silly o'clock and does not allow me to

Thanks for prayers for my brother 🙏 Amazing to me that you have a
hip
replacement
and go home same day 😱 He didn’t sleep at all last night and I think the hospital would be a better place to control pain the first night 🤷♂️.

Surgery
I have had parkinsons for 5 years and need a

, I fear how the anesthesia will affect my symptons. I have an appointment with a new neurologist, but it's not until the end of March. My surgeon can only tell me that it's my decision,

Eyes and Chemotherapy
I’m about to have a total
Hip
Replacement
later this month, that is enough to worry about at the moment. I will be requesting a Referral back to the Eye Hospital Bristol tomorrow .. It appears that several of us have oddities going on, I wonder if there are more suffering similar symptoms?

Post total knee replacement
Anyone who has had a total knee
replacement
had more pain in the
hip
area than the knee. Having a job to keep my knee straight at night as keep waking up every hour with tremendous pain in the hip and end up getting up and having a walk round. It's inhibiting my physio as well.

I’m a 66 year old woman, due to have a complete
hip
replacement
in late Feb - have been looking forward to it for months. Always considered myself to be very fit and healthy. However, 8 weeks ago I found myself in A&E with a self-limiting episode of AFib, which lasted maybe 45 mins.

UPDATE ON HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY
Hello everyone, I had my
hip
replacement
surgery a week ago today. It went well. I went into the theatre at 9 am and in the recovery room at 11 am. I spent 5 hours in recovery because they had to discharge patients and sanitise the beds and wards so newly operated on patients could have a bed!
