Herpes (or acyclovir usage) affecting implantation after ivf embryo transfer?
I have had
herpes
for about 10 years. I have noticed more outbreaks during stims. I've already had 2 failed transfers and am worried both that having
herpes
and /or taking acyclovir will affect implantation for my last transfer.

little light bumps all over penis. Help please
It’s not blistering or clustered so I don’t think it’s
herpes
but I have no idea what it is and am wondering if anybody might have an idea. I’ll attach pictures below

balantitis - red patch on penis that has faded but left a minor mark. Is this normal?
Looking at pictures online I’m almost positive it isn’t
herpes
or anything else.

Her disease was
herpes
encephalitis type 1. Now, after two months, her physical and mental condition has decreased compared to when she was in the hospital. I want to know if this is a normal issue in the recovery process of encephalitis. Is it? Are we still on the path of improvement?

Possible wound infection / herpes outbreak?
I am 32M , and have not been diagnosed with
herpes
in the past. I had a skin tag just below my anus, which I accidentally scratched off believe it or not. It left a pretty big open wound, that of course bled and was slightly painful.

herpes?
so a bit unsure if the pic attached is just the irritation from the hair growing back or
herpes
. I did feel a little unwell the day I (2 days ago) noticed the rash, but no fever. The rash does not hurt, burn or tingle unless I use a wet wipe on the area then there is a tiny bit of discomfort.

more unwell and confused
Some of this is due to continual
Herpes
two attacks and now taking Valaciclovir every day, also new diagnosis of further erosion of the lumbar spine at disc three as well as 4-5. I take 11mg Preds every morning. I took it today.

Does anyone with LUPUS get reoccurring Shingles/ Herpes Zoster infections?
It’s only the immunology specialist that’s been able to give me some reason for this and says is due to “
herpes
zoster infection” occurring frequently in SLE patients. Does anyone with Systemic Lupus get regular reoccurring shingles, how often and how do you cope?

Herpes Zoster vaccination OK for me?
I've been recommended by the health board to have the
Herpes
Zoster vaccination prior to starting the biologic jabs. I recall that Zostavax , because it is a live vaccine, is not recommended, but Shingrix is OK. Is Zostavax the same as the
Herpes
Zoster? I would be grateful for advice. Thank you.

Every test was negative to be seen by a different doctor to be told it is
herpes
and sent for more tests, it's was there that I was referred to a consultant at a hospital and diagnosis 4 years after my symptoms started.

This one is a bit "left field" but here goes...
Herpes
is arguably more serious than Covid and I am off my prophylaxis. How long do I leave the bike before I collect it to use? Disinfecting the bike in NOT an option! Trivial in the grand scheme of things I know. But I am a boy with a new toy...!

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
She had me tested for
herpes
zoster antibodies, and for good measure, also checked for MMR antibodies/titers, given the recent uptick in measles in the community (we're in Canada). My results came back: it was indeed shingles.

Is it Behcet’s?
I’ve been to the GP and they’ve tested for
herpes
which was negative, but have given me antibiotics anyway which haven’t worked. They’ve also done a blood test which showed nothing out of the ordinary and on that they have ruled out any immune system issues.

HERPES 2 increease of incidence as related to reduction in immune response caused by preds
As a modest Boomer, living life within a culture of sexual freedom, I managed to pick up
Herpes
2 virus at some point. It wasn't a bother as it might happen every few years and not last long. It remained that way - maybe once a year?
