Anyone help with post-varices banding treatment
Hi, I've got cirrohsis from Hep C and have developed oesophagal varices. Had prophylactic banding yesterday and can't tolerate food, have continual "heartburn" and have difficulty drinking. Any idea how long this lasts?

Blood tests
Anyone have an idea how long I'm likely to wait for my results, I understand that some tests take time to "culture" or something like that, but I just asked the doctor to add on a ANA test as I've read it's result is a good indicator of Lupus,I've not heard back from him yet with an answer. Fingers crossed

Treatment Finished and on the mend!!!!!
Today is Monday, April 1st. I finished my treatment on March 20th. My last shot of Interferon was on March 14th. Wow.....I am finished. I wanted to post this when I finished but my life has been somewhat hectic lately and I never got a chance to post. I just want to say that I find it so strange

Hi! I am from a Caribbean background and we tend to eat food associated with the home. What can I do to eat healthier and retain my culture?
Also I have had two Caesarian sections and this have left me with an apron of fat deposited over my pubic area as have gained weight. Apart from overall exercise which I will in-coperate into my diet is there anything else I can do to minimize this area and it's appearance?

What is the difference between Fragmin & Innohep?
During my first pregnancy and part of my second I was on Innohep prescribed by an Internest Doctor (my old OB had always called it Fragmin so I thought it was just a brand name) I was taken off of it by a Hematologist who said I need not be treated. I miscarried a week later. I am 10 weeks pregnant

Aspergillus anyone?
Following my bronchoscopy last week I do now know that I have aspergillus, though I don't yet know which strain, or whether it's invasive or an aspergilloma. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, all feedback gratefully received. Thanks.
