Heart Palpitations driving me crazy
Hey there, this is the first time I've actually spoken out to others or tried anything like this... here goes! I'm only 27, by the way! 4 years ago I had open heart surgery and replaced my aortic valve! Felt completely fine and asymptomatic before, and after. About two years ago I had a pulmonary embolism

Worse at night
So I have heart disease, I had a heart attack 2017 followed by a quadruple bypass. I'm 53 and work 24 hours a week. I went back to work following rehab, but last year suffered a minor heart attack, now being treated with blood thinners. So the worry is that I am going to have another event, my husband

Pain in lower legs
Please does anyone know if this is normal ? I started c25k last week with my friend . We have just finished the second run of week 2 . I was really enjoying it as I am not a runner of sorts and really want to be able to run a reasonable distance and get fit in the process . All was going as it should

Apixaban
Hi, has anyone had spinal anaesthesia for surgery whilst taking Apixaban. I know I will have to stop taking it 48 hours prior to surgery. I thought I had seen somewhere that’s it’s not safe and I want to have my facts right before seeing anesthetist on Thursday.

Bisoprolol for tachycardia
Hiya guys I've basically has this spontaneous diurnal tachycardia which no one is able to put a cause to at the moment. I've been tried on Bisoprolol 2.5mg for this. And to some effect it is working. Before I was ranging from 90-180 now I'm anywhere between 58-130. However I have noticed my blood pressure

First Face-to-Face With Other CKD Patients
I am a 76 yr old, live alone woman who has long prided myself on my independence. The CKD stage 3 diagnosis in 2019 left me feeling very alone and frightened. Both pcp and nephrologist seemed unconcerned about my CKD and I knew no one else with renal problems. After many hours and weeks spent searching

Yet another one coming off Bisoprolol
Hi My consultant has suggested I come off my 2.5mg Bisoprolol daily pill. (Open Heart surgery 9 months ago.) From reading posts on the forum, I get the impression that going to 1.25 might be sensible for a bit but he thought it would be ok to just drop down to 0. Just for info, how easy is it to cut

The Name of a Doctor Who Gives Video Talks on Arrhythmia
Hello I have seen mention of a doctor who has given several 'talks' on various arrhythmias and heart condition in general. I can't find mention of his name. I have been having an exacerbation of my Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia (far more frequent, in fact almost ongoing with a top rate of 190 bpm)

Back in sinus rhythm but still got AF symptoms
Hi everyone - my first post ... I've had three cardioversions and was doing well until recently when I got palpitations and my legs gave way. The funny thing is that I'm back in sinus rhythm but now feel tired, breathless and on and off light-headed like I was before my cardioversions. I'm on flecanide

Coronary artery bypass graft.
I had a quad heart bypass on Christmas Eve 2019 at Basildon Hospital, Essex...writing this exactly 1 month after, feeling good after terrible back/shoulder pain for the first 3 weeks...now sleeping better. Saw the cardiac nurse today and she stressed that it is quite a journey back to total fitness so
